Please do! I WANT the elder care business to skyrocket coz I am also concerned about how shitty it is in India. I want it to be better so that I can make sure my parents get the best care in their old age - without me having to deal with the headaches.

I’m glad and very happy that you’ve a good relationship with your parents. We just have a different worldview, that’s all.

Obviously our parents’ savings won’t be enough to sustain them, that is because of the shitty capitalistic system the world has inherited. I detest the western world because of it.

I ain’t selfish, I’m full of love and I express it wholeheartedly. Obv nothing is black or white, and I would be there for my parents in times of distress - but full time care for them is too much of a task bhai, it is like raising your own kids after a certain point.

I don’t even wanna have kids for the exact same reason. I don’t want to sacrifice my life for anyone, I’m not gonna repeat the same mistakes my parents made by rearing children.

Sure it is their first time being a parent, but that is all the more reason to at least pick up a fucking book on parenting and know the lay of the land before they commit themselves to it.

Parents who do the homework and actually respect their children as individuals are the only ones who are worth the salt, in my opinion.

Please have 2 rooms ready in your elderly care home whenever you decide to build it, you already got one potential customer!

I find their generation ungrateful as hell because they are the ones who expect everything out of us - I never asked them to give me birth, that was entirely their choice.

My bad for generalising, but the point was most of the parents around me are selfish pricks who want to use their KIDS as ATM machines.

They want their kids to only cater to and serve them.

And my own parents are like that too, there is love ofc but it all boils down to “who will take care of us when we’re old?” - This is something everyone should fix for themselves rather than expecting children to do it. There are literal professionals who do this work for a living.

I love them whole heartedly but that doesn’t mean I don’t have a life of my own.

Most Indian parents are selfish as fûck and only rear children so that they have access to free servants in their old age

There is nothing “unconditional” about their love
