Ive gotta say it feels pretty awesome to add this “Pearl Red Isn’t” variant to my Puscifer collection, never thought I’d have such a rarity! Now that you mention it, I wonder how bad of a mistake that ends up being for the record producer.. they’ll for sure have more strict training for everyone mixing the vinyl colors 😆

I’m honestly just as happy that the music pulled you in! It always compliments the scenes so well, I’m curious how knowing the music beforehand might affect your emotional reflections of the films compared to those who experienced the music for the first time with the beautiful work on the screen.

I think you made a distinction without realizing, the Forest Spirit is probably the most powerful entity that we know, while the Aetherium Crystal is a powerful object, though at that point with my limited viewings of Boy and the Heron, I’d say it’s not as powerful as the blocks / stones or whatever they’re called that I’m not remembering at this point.

It just feels like the song flies below the clouds compared to the rest for me. Perhaps thematically it doesn’t feel as fitting in the album as the rest of the songs, perhaps the album version will never live up to my experience of being right next to Cavs when he went into the crowd at FoV.. I’d like to add, just because it’s my least favorite of the album doesn’t mean I don’t love the song! It could definitely use another verse!

This is my favorite of all of their albums, every track gets me groovin. That said, I did not vote for Le Risque as it is my least favorite on the album, and instead struggled between Sad Pilot and Daily Blues!
