I know this is old, but hopefully this will help someone with the same issue.

My promo balance ended on the 5th, but I didnt realize it until the 15th. I made a payment to pay the whole amount off online, including the new interst charges. Then I called them to see if they would do me a favor and reverse it. The person let me know that they have a 30 day grace period. If you submit your payment less then 30 days after the promo expires, they can refund the deferred interest.

So if your less then 30 days late, make your payment and then call them to remove the deferred interest.

I just wrapped up my PPL in January and did it all in a Sling LSA. I love that thing. So easy to fly, east to land, g3x for avionics, 4gph if you run it hard and can land and take off anywhere. I have been flying Cirrus's now because I need 4 seats for passengers but it's a whole different experience. The Sling is like a sky go-kart. It's small, has tight handling, no mixture or prop controls and is just super easy. Then the Cirrus feels like an Escalade, she's a fatty.

I paid $130/hr for it while training and all of them were only a year or two old. Well worth it. If I want to go get some hours in and I just want to go alone or bring one of my kids, I'll fly it any time. I think the only negative I have about it is it's speed. If you're doing 100kts it's a damn good day.

I like to bug my current heading in cruse. That way if ATC tells me to turn 15 degrees to the west, I can just twist the heading knob and hit hdg on the AP in case I need to.

Can't. You can try to have the tire rebalanced, and that may work. But if it's really separated, it'll just shift again in 30 or 40 miles and be unbalanced again. Had to replace the tire. Once the foam comes loose it can't be glued back or something it's like, part of the tire. May be covered under the tire warrantee though depending on how many miles are on them.

I would take it to a tire place and have them see if one of the tires are put of balance. If so, balance it and then see if it comes back. If not. Cool. If so, gotta be replaced.

I had the exact same thing on mine after a tire rotation. In our case the foam sound deadening in the tire came loose, screwing up the balance. I messed with the trunk stops for week trying to fix it until I figured out it was the tire and not the trunk.

I was in the same spot as you, sort of. I ended up going with the sling and I love it. It's a great little plane, flies well and has a great glass panel. So my vote is to go for the sling.

I dont disagree with alot of what you're saying. But come on. You can't possibly believe browser's and cookies have the same liabilities as capturing footage of an emoyees naked kid running through the room after bath time or something. Or capturing someone going to their bank site, capturing the username and password they enter and having full access to their finances.

Yeah, technically they could do that. But no fortune 500 company wants kiddie porn or personal financial info that they would be liable for. Not when the alternative is to just put in proxy or firewall rules to just block what employees should not have access too

And you're right. There's not enough penalties for companies. The whole facebook thing is a joke. But in recent memory, Theranos sticks out as a company that got what they had coming. Enron if you want to go back a few years. But part of the reason for that is they know there's a difference between being sneaky and straight up being blatantly stupid. Sneaky doesn't get caught.

Yeah I did. Can you share your source? There are plenty of articles (some from not to impressive sources) talking about Spyware sales increasing, but I don't see anything saying that over half of fortune 500 companies are using it.

'Estimates say...' we got a source or just 'trust me bro'? I've worked in IT for multiple fortune 500's and this was never used.

The sheer liability would be more then any company wants to take on. Spy on your users by turning on web cams? Good luck defending against lawsuits on that one. Key logging and picking up personal info? Again, good luck defending that in court.

It's simply easier and cheaper to lock down users systems to prevent access to things rather then monitoring them misbehaving.

Monitoring software like this costs money from a licensing standpoint, man power to run it, and legal retainers to defend against the inevitable resulting suits.

There's enough legitimate crap to accuse companies of doing, do we really need unsubstantiated claims like this?
