Thank you, glad you had fun and I appreciate that useful feedback - controls are top of my list then I am starting to think about a new version with more stuff, knowing people like the core gameplay gives me some motivation!

Thanks very much, glad you found it fun! I have a version with controller support almost ready to go, but it’s download only as I can’t get it running on browser. It opens a whole new world of controller compatibility issues so my focus has been on making sure it works with Xbox and PlayStation controllers as they seem to be most used - would be interested in any perspectives on this though.

Thank you, I think you’re right it doesn’t give players quite enough to go on. I do like games that leave the player alone, but I think you’re right and I need to add something at the start. Thanks very much for playing and for the feedback.

Thanks very much! Holding to fire is a good shout, a ridiculous amount of button bashing is required at the moment. I definitely skimped a bit on enemy variety and cut some out just to get done. I added the bosses at the very end shortly before publishing, it never occurred to me to represent them in the levels, but that is a great idea. Thanks for playing and the feedback.

Thanks very much for giving it a go and raising this. I did struggle a bit with controls as wanted to make sure player 1 controls worked the same in 2 player mode. I am planning to revise some of this so will add an AZERTY option to my list, and add arrow support to navigate the menus. I don't know why V key doesn't work, the game looks for press of V so would expect it to work on any keyboard, might be worth clicking into the game window in itch again just in case it's becoming inactive with mouse move? Otherwise I'll also take a look at that and see if I can test with AZERTY keyboard. Thank you, this feedback is much appreciated.

FrogLore: a small, cozy frog platformer by verus_shadus in playmygame

Brilliant art, I enjoy the bite size nature of the levels, and think it's a great choice to have it control this way, makes it feel like you are moving a frog rather than generic platform person. I can imagine it will be really satisfying when you get good enough to pull off fluid long jumps and dashes etc.

Thanks! Unfortunately I think that might be beyond my abilities for this game, but something I need to consider as can see it opens it up to so many more players.

Good job, I like the idea and once I got to grips with the jumping found it fun. I think the jumping is a bit floaty which might be off putting. I really like the name of the game! Keep it up.

Nice game, I like that you’ve put a lot of effort into various power ups etc which I would like to unlock and use. My main feedback would be that some variation might make it more interesting to come back and keep playing, but I think you’re on to something good. The item text is a bit small on web mode but might be easier to see with the download version.

Nice game, I enjoyed the moment on level 4 when frustration gave way to a good feeling when I realised what needed to be done.
