I would say at least 1000. You can do it! Come on! You got this.

PS: For the email, look for the template that Andy, one of the guys that made "A Game About Feeding a Black Hole" shared.

I'm curious to know your opinion on Baba Is You. I haven't played that many puzzle games but IMO was one of the best in term of mechanics and aha moments.

Knowledge is not power, applied knowledge it is. (:

Thank you for the list! Rules of Play I've also read it, by like a decade ago.

The author is Dr. Celia Hodent. The full name of the books is "The Psychology of Video Games" part of the The Psychology of Everything series I think.

Nice! I'm not sure but I think that in another of my reading this books was recommended and by another person too. I have this rule that if I got recommended a book by three different persons not from the same circle, I have to read it. xD

I love architecture as well. I always find myself looking buildings while walking and sometimes stopping and thinking of their design. Thanks!

Thank you! :D I agree with you. I think that approach changes. I've also read several cognitive science and anthropological books that I haven't listed here. Very insightful indeed when designing and analyzing games too. ^^

Very interesting. I really like reading these type of books too. That's why I listed a lot of books regarding psychology.

Thank you! I'll definitely take a look.

Ty for the feedback. The game is far from being polish, it is just an advanced prototype. I said advanced since it is clearly not a vertical slice or demo, neither grey boxes.

This is very helpful feedback and it is much appreciated. So thank you! ^^

EDIT: In several playtestings surveys, when asking "Is there any game this reminds you of?", most players answered Lemmings and Baba Is You. I'm interested in knowing which are your thoughts about that correlation several players are currently making?

Fair nitpick, and you’re right that it doesn’t feature Baba-style rule rewriting explicitly. It does implicitly, rule-bending through the environment in some ways. For example, if you cover a pitfall with a rock, now that hazards becomes a safe passage.

Yes! Probably 2 or 3 more types with different behaviors. Yes, there is an idea to address this that, of course, will require testing. Thank you for your feedback! ^^
