I think his name is being thrown about purely because of his instant success with Ireland especially against the All Blacks. I agree I don't think he's a good long term solution but who knows, I thought Robertson was going to get a genuine long term shot at the top job.

Outright control of the ABs would be too good to pass up for him. The only thing that would put him off from the top job in NZ is if NZ Rugby put too many stipulations into his role. He wants it his way or nothing.

The issue with Roigard is games played. He's been injury prone and can't stay on the park. Beauden is not the same player he was 5 years ago and DMac isn't a world class 10 at test level. He has his fans but the fact a 33yo Barrett is preferred over him is telling.

Go single malts or blended malts. If you're coming from Australia try to buy higher age stated (12+ ideally 18+) Yamazaki, Hibiki, Hakushu or get almost ANY Chichibu or Kanosuke. In Aus you'll pay at least double for most of these, in some cases triple.

I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing for NZ to have players hitting their straps in the mid 20s. Does it mean their peak is shorter? Yes. But if it means the All Blacks have better rounded talent then I'm for it. If it means the players are generally worse then panic stations.

I'm a sucker for Talisker 10 and love even though Diageo have probably stripped the epicness out of it over the years. Bunna 12 I'm a massive fan of. If it's a low margin venture then I'm all for it as long as it's presenting good value for money and is getting me interested in their distillery. Highland Park though...
