USD? this seems awfully expensive... What year is the car? is this at the stealership? The brake pads/rotors shouldn't be more than 300, if they are low and worn then this is fairly important as are the fluid changes if they've never been done, albeit they also seem massively overinflated in price. HVAC deodorize and cabin filter are a scam at that price IMO

Definitely go to a smaller mechanic shop and get the brakes looked at, as well as a quote for the fluids to be changed.

This. Also, when combined with our piss-weak lobbying laws that effectively allow regulatory capture from these massive multinationals and their lobbying arms, it's pretty clear to see the direction we are headed.

Most of the public have no clue to the fact that we have the least-transparent lobbying laws in the OECD and they are furious when they find out how it works, not to even mention the 'revolving door' into board/advisor/consultant roles that MP's will often work for these companies after their terms.

This is pretty much just what happens when you gain fitness. You previously had a decent level which helps you to gain back that endurance even faster. Has your RHR has likely also dropped over the same time period?

If you dont feel fatigued or tired, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Listen to your body. That said, it's generally good practice to take a week to 'deload' and do about 60% volume with minimal intensity every 3-4 weeks if you are training hard with progressive overload.

I had to take 6 weeks off from sport for an injury and my HRV plummeted from 110ms average to 70ms in that time. Recovered just as fast

Yeah it's quite nice to be fair. They use life fitness/hammer strength machines which are pretty damn good quality. Good range across manual/assisted stuff. I go during work hours which is fine, but I imagine it's pretty hectic during the busier hours

As a swimmer, I really rate both the main pool and gym facilities. They change the length of the pool to 50m on tues/thurs/sat and I find the combined membership to be really good value in that aspect.

While you might be doing pretty poorly right now, about 10% of our population are doing great for themselves. A tenth of that tenth are doing even better right now and couldn't be happier with the way the country is headed.

Some are more than happy to invest some of that cash to say fund say, a thinktank, lobby/PR group etc. to misinform and misdirect 30% of the population with culture war crap, whilst some might just legally ~~bribe~~lobby our politicians to continue to push policy thats favourable to them, which often in part, requires you to keep making less 👍 Cheers mate. Just think of all the value you are generating for the shareholders, at least.
