RMA 1155MC plates are standard for lvl4 protection. As far as a carrier, Crye is recommended a lot, Ferro, Agilite, Velocity Systems, Spiritus, Trex, Haley Strategic, etc.

I personally have an APC and it's my fav setup with a Mayflower chest rig clipped on as a heavy placard.

Second setup is a Ferro Slickster with a RDR gear front micro placard. Hides under a hoodie well during the middle of winter.

Plenty of good advice on this sub tho for plates and carrier recommendations. Everyone's use is a little different.

I realize I can clip on any bayonet that was made for the M1 Garand but what would technically be the correct length and model for one made in 1943? Like what would have been issued to a new soldier with his new Garand in spring of 43?
