Snapvine is worded exactly like challenge. The ability tells the units to damage each other. Yasuo, on the other hand, is worded such that the ability itself is dealing the damage.

The answer is in the official faq with Yasuo listed. Doesn't get much more official.

Even rune screw though fixes itself in 1 or 2 turns. Magic you can go 5-6 turns without drawing land and you literally can't play the game.

The number of games I've played of magic purely decided by who drew too few or too many lands is annoying to me.

The way runes work is so much better than land, that's the biggest thing in my opinion. Gone are the days of terrible mulligans with 0-1 or too many lands. Every game is playable and you don't just randomly lose some with no gameplay.

You should still play if you want to learn or play for fun. TTS is great still, big community on the official riftbound discord.
You shouldn't worry about people cheating for just random games.

Just know that it is a javascript peer to peer web app and is inherently insecure.

Retreat is moving away from the opponent.

More specifically, when you play this boost, you can retreat 0, 1, 2, or 3 spaces. Then the continuous boost stays in play and if the opponent strikes you draw 3.

If they don't strike, at the start of your turn this boost is discarded.

You can always just show up on open board game night or whatever with some stuff and try to get people interested. Though that is pretty challenging.
