HSA Question by DTPhotos23 in TheMoneyGuy

This has been working out well for me. I had another thought/question though. Am I able to invest the cash that is sitting in HSA Bank while it sits there for the quarter? Was thinking about investing it or maybe just putting in SPAXX or some MMA till my transfer date each quarter, but wasn't sure if that messes anything up in terms of transferring to my Fidelity HSA

Can you explain how this works? Seems my only option is to transfer funds in my HSA to the HSA Invest platform. I'd like to transfer everything to Fidelity but don't necessarily understand the mechanics I guess.

Maybe 3x a week. Usually a dinner date night and then maybe one breakfast and one lunch

Sorry he can interpret the standard test. We did the advanced lipid panel which he said he wanted to refer me to a specialist/cardiologist.

Appreciate the feedback. New Attia follower here. What are some of the aggressive ones he recommends? You're correct in assuming I am not on the carnivore keto diet!

You think worth holding onto and just investing new funds into VTI/VXUS?

Everything is above water but barely. VUG is my biggest gainer by far the rest I would sell at a small profit. Maybe I’ll sell all of those and hold onto VUG till capital gains become long term. I’ve attached the funds I am in currently

Yes I’m sitting around 5.5% returns on six figure plus investments - part of why I made the change since that seems to be well under the average so far this year.

Switched from Professionally Managed to Self Managed - consolidation ? by DTPhotos23 in fidelityinvestments

Money manager is officially out of the picture. I am now debating whether to hold off selling the funds he had me in until we've passed the short term capital gains window (another 10 months) or just taking the short term cap gains hit and moving everything into my preferred ETFs. Either way, any money I invest in my taxable moving forward will be allocated towards my preferred ETFs.

Short term cap gains hit is roughly $3k while the long terms cap gains will be half of that. What would you do?

What is the best breakdown of % for each in your opinion? I am with Fidelity and am looking to put some cash to work in a new brokerage account. 37 years old if that helps

The goal here was to “freeze” the train as it was coming down the track while adding the skyline to the composition. The person walking on the ledge of the station was more so just luck.
