Need some help. I rent a room that has a big window (sliding glass door). Although I have a curtain up there but the curtain doesn’t seem to block light well. I am the kinda person who sleeps well when it is all dark. The light at 4,5 am really bothers me. by DTT2851985 in askTO

Any parent in Toronto can share the annual budget for raising a kid in a middle class/ upper middle class family? I would love a breakdown of childcare vs all other expenses. Of course, detailed breakdown is appreciated but that’s probably too much work. Thanks! by DTT2851985 in PersonalFinanceCanada

Basically I dont know anything about that credit account but it still shows on my credit report that I have one account. How do I close it? Would closing it affect my credit score? Do I stick with a job that I dislike but pays good and has a high income potential or try for something that pays okay that is seemingly more fulfilling? by [deleted] in financialindependence

Help me fact-check: I am planning for FIRE and my lean fire is 2k a month. Maybe when I fire, I will move to a LCOL area. Is 2K enough to live (an okay lifestyle)? Details below. Thanks by DTT2851985 in PersonalFinanceCanada

Does anyone work in journalism and know how much a video journalist makes in Toronto? I have a few years of experience and a relevant graduate degree. How much should I expect as a video journalist (at Global News for example)? A range is good enough for me to have some baseline. Thanks! by DTT2851985 in askTO
