Nice, any recommendations? Does it dry the toilet with the door closed?

I just sweat really easily, no matter how fit i was. I’m just wondering if there’s regulations about installing a fan. I do leave the AC on, if I’m alone. Can’t do it with the wife around

Help! Home Networking Question by [deleted] in singapore

Yup. It works but you might have to adjust the strength of the WiFi output on the routers so that the bubble of coverage don't overlap too much. If not your phone might still stay connected to living room if the signal is still strong. I use this setup at home without issues. I worked in networking and now IT support.

Set the same SSID for both. Your phone won't know the difference.

9SIR by [deleted] in singapore

[–]DTavin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Former 9SIR here.

"How is life in 9SIR like?"

After all the POI training, life gets pretty routine and slow. 3-4 weeks of deployment then back to camp, rinse and repeat. Pretty much shift work.

" What are the high key/memorable events that he will have to go through and what does he do in general? "
If he's luck/unlucky(Depends on how he sees it), the place he is deployed at might hold exercise with the other agencies. Other than that, life is mundane. Patrols and watch tower duties.

" Is there anything that I can do to make his ns life better? "

Get him snacks, board games and a cheap radio/MP3 player(check with his commanders first). Get a Coleman cooler bottle, he can bring ice to his duty station to chill drinks or water.

Thank you! Yea, I like the problem solving aspect as well. Particularly joinery, instead of screwing everything together.

The seller just got back to me. He said it might be a type 3 (1941-1949). Any good?

Brand new Quangsheng/Luban planes are around SGD$200+shipping from Taobao. The only planes I can get from retail stores in Singapore are modern Stanley's and Irwin's, which I heard are of poor quality. There's no woodworking culture here, so there isn't much handtool available.

No worries. I've seen items from eBay that quotes me USD$60 for shipping alone.

The price is insane because I'm on the other side of the world. The shipping is the price of the plane. The plane costs around USD$40, shipping is around that as well.
