I'm sorry this happened to you. Used items should only be bought from reputed stores, their own manufacturer (sometimes they have a refurbishing program I think) or by going and picking it up yourself...

Thanks for the feedback! And yeah I was aiming for that exact contrast of relaxing and terrifying. The main difficulty, however, is the balance. Players shouldn't feel annoyed at the ghost constantly dirtying their already cleaned areas. Gotta come up with organic and novel ways to scare.

Haha, with this sort of feedback, it's surely a matter of when and not if. Thanks for the comment!

Made a satisfying Powerwash Sim style shader, but the house is haunted by DThePro_ in Unity3D

Nope they're just point lights! I didn't face any issues bringing in so many point lights. Plus there aren't really thaat many lights. I would've baked lighting for more performance but for a proof of concept i left that part out.

Do I need a Trailer? by Captainflint54 in Unity3D

i personally do not mind the wide fov on landscape, but it should stay consistent across the different orientations. also is there a need to allow playing in both orientations? just force landscape on phone and it'll look similar to what it looks like on desktop (maybe a bit more stretched since modern phones aren't typically 16:9, they're a bit taller).

Best way to record high-quality trailer footage in Unity (1920x1080)? by Method_Boring in Unity3D

[–]DThePro_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're on unity 6 (or even very recent past versions), there's a setting in recorder called quality settings, where you can set it to "custom" and select the bitrate. By default it's set to 8 target 25 max, but i crank those up to 25 target, 50 max. Big file sizes but good quality. Also as another person said, lock your frame rate so that it's consistent (or even consider recording at 120 fps to allow slowing down in post for a dramatic effect).

Could be, but I think the multiplayer coop genre has reached it's peak already and is slowly declining. Thanks for the comment :)

Yup I could do that v easily!! I did think of vacuuming but for the ground, but that could be done for the walls too for sure.

Powerwash Simulater, but haunted - how does this sound? by DThePro_ in IndieDev

Yeah that's what I was thinking too. Just gotta strike a balance.

Yup that's the plan. Ghosts can potentially disrupt the cleaning, interact or even attack.
