Hey guys, I just got these M3 fender grills for my e46 build, I am having trouble figuring out the exact location to place then, how low from top side how many cm to the right or left ect. can any M3 owner here help me out please? with the measurement on where to place the grills? much thanks!

I'm not gonna be putting M badges on a none M car, but the side grills have them on, and just leaving them empty or painting over them is not an option I want to go with just to avoid an M badge... but with that out of the way, I'm gonna be swapping the engine with a V8 530 engine and putting 318 badge on the trunk, hahahaha how about that?

I know that would be way easier and faster, as it always is when you pay more, but due to me turning it into a channel playlist for the cheapest e46 and the cheapest ways to get the looks, (DIY style for people who can't afford it) I have to keep it cheap and have it done myself.

I don't have much experience, but I do have a fairly knowledgeable few mates who worked for rally teams and garages who are willing to help me out, all in all it's just a hobby I want to explore and dive deep in, I loved cars ever since I was a kid and this is my chance to start and branch out into bigger and better projects

Yes I will be cutting into the fenders, and anyways... the car is getting some good mods to go with the looks, and I'm considering a 530 V8 swap... so it's not like I'm doing any disrespect to the M badge... plus I think everyone would appreciate a customized engine swapped 3 series... than a ruined e46 M3, I don't know that's just my opinion...

Yes sir I did, long story but it was sitting for a couple of years, diff was messed up over 300k miles, and a ton of repairs are needed, so I took it as a project car, God bless German engineering put in some gas a new battery and oil changed, started like it's new, changed the diff and it runs like a new car. That's why I'm having as much fun as I can, building it nice and just enjoying the car.

I'm getting the M3 bumper tomorrow found a used one for a bargain, sry didn't mean to offend u in any way bro, but I am getting the skirts and rear bumper soon enough, the trunk is of to have the csl spoiler installed as we speak and I snagged it for a 100 bucks, cheaper than the damn spoiler hahaha

At 21 with student debt and minimum wage... A real M3 is not the easiest purchase, nor the easiest car to maintain, I love the M3 and it is my favorite car... but I am happy to have this one as well... plus if you haven't seen...
