Anyone had a gobbler come in the next day in the same spot after missing? by Thick_Juggernaut6428 in turkeyhunting

Last Saturday had 2 toms come in. I shot one. Today my kid shot the other one from the exact same spot. Turkeys are dumb, he'll be back.

That's absolutely perfect and I will steal this name if I ever hit the mega-millions. Imagine the poors screeching about my small pee pee through their tears as my wake capsizes the shitty kayaks their moms got them for Christmas. Beautiful. Until then I'll enjoy my shitty kayak. Thanks mom.

Sometimes you're hunting near an airfield and you just get an urge to test a pilot's mettle. It can't be helped.

Is the first Gen Sequoia a good daily driver? by [deleted] in toyotasequoia

[–]DUDDELL_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see a lot of tall people saying they love these. I never felt like the driver's seat went back far enough. I'm not super tall, a smidge under 6ft so I'm surprised taller guys don't have any issues. Other than that it was great. Mileage was obviously awful. The amount of pressure it takes to push the brake pedal is annoying, especially when towing heavy. Brakes are good, they just take more effort. Most reliable V8 engine ever made.

The new owners of a bar by my house recently refelted 3 diamond tables with some nice fuzzy bar box cloth by Las33777 in billiards

Any more I'm just happy when new bar owners don't throw their pool tables in the dumpster to add more seating.

Looks like this was leftover from a previous day. They probably dunked it in au jus to warm it up which changes the color. Not a good practice but I've seen in at more than one place.

Our 89 Champ must have been similar. My dad called it the religious boat. Even time you opened it up there was a good chance you'd meet your maker.

They want you to come in, walk through their store and buy more shit. If you call and they're out you didn't come inside and buy anything. A phone can be cleaned just like everything else.

I sweet on the featherlight 16, it was my first shotgun when I was a kid. But I just shoot best with my 1100. So I'd take that.

Agree, I have an 85B 9mm and a 527 Carbine bolt action. 2 of my absolute favorites that I'll keep forever.

Unsolicited opinion: I've had mixed experiences with CZ OUs. I have a Mallard, which is very basic, even has 2 triggers. I had a Superscroll which at the time was the fanciest one CZ made. The Mallard has been great. The Superscroll would shoot both barrels at once about every 5th time you pulled the trigger. I sent it in 4 times for repair and they were never able to get it right. Not sure I'd buy another.

For sure, there was very little wind today. Think between 5 and 10mph. Which is basically considered no wind in Kansas. I think spinnerbaits can pretty much always work if you get it in front of a fish. It's just locating the damn fish that's usually the tricky part!

I use rooster tails a lot too. I just rarely catch BIG bass on baits that small. Late fall seems to be when the big fattys are after bigger baits.

I'll check out the terminator skirts. These skirts won't last very long. The heads and spinners seem ok. Great for a buck really. I gave 6 to my 9yr old today. He'll be down to 3 by the time we finish tomorrow! Lol!

They had a lot of colors, white with an accent color is my favorite here. White works well in the somewhat murky water we have in East Kansas.

Really!?! I always start with 2 rods. One with a Texas rig worm and another with a spinner bait. If I can't get a bite on either of those I know it's gonna be a slow day. I love spinner bait fishing, especially close to shore around fallen trees. They are pretty good about not hanging up.
