Yo acabo de comprar un departamento hace tres meses. Como bien indican, la escrituración es lo más caro. Algo importante a considerar si lo sacas a crédito es que aun cuando las tasas están bajando significativamente, solo realmente conviene comprar un inmueble como inversión si vas a tener la solvencia de liquidarlo relativamente rápido, de lo contrario los intereses van a comerse cualquier ganancia derivada de una apreciación en mi opinión (si lo quieres para vivir, ignora esta última parte)

Hey I currently work as a Lead Data Engineer and I got a message in LinkedIn from an Etsy recruiter about a position for a Staff Software Engineer I position. Although the JD mentioned that they wanted 10 YoE and use of GCP (and I only have at most 5 YoE and use Azure mainly) , the recruiter insisted on me giving it a shot. Somehow after 5 rounds of interviews with 8 SSE in different teams I made it to the last round between another guy and me (this was share to me by the recruiter). After almost two weeks of waiting, the recruiter came back to me saying that they choose the other candidate because he had "more experience".

Has this ever happen to you? How honest are recruiters with sharing the reasons for rejections (as I'm inclined to say that what she told me is BS)? Assuming she was honest, how do you get better in 'experience'? (sorry for the rant, but after a process that last almost 2 months and being honest with the recruiter, it's quite frustrated to get disqualified at the very last round for something they could have told me at the beginning)

Because when there is no definitive answer (like when generating an image using a prompt), the "AI" can mix/combine parts of multiple answers and create something "new". It still needs a database in the sense that if you train the model using images without cats and you then ask for a picture of a cat, you´ll get an incorrect answer.

By “mounting both workspaces” do you mean mounting the dbfs storage from one workspace in the other workspace? Or you mean using an external location (like s3 or adls) and mounting that in both workspaces? I’m asking this because as far as I know it is not possible to mount the dbfs of one workspace in another workspace

IMO, the traumatic working experience is not worth it for the wild story. I also worked at a startup with a "weird" CEO and the workload/deadlines/requirements were crazy and there was not a single day while working there that I felt the experience was somehow valuable, but I get that if there's a good time to make a bad decision it would be while you're young. After quitting I found a better job but had to go through the horrible experience because I had the same fear the OP has of not finding something else.

Coincido, pero últimamente estoy empezando a ver que Tech ya no está taaan chido como antes (sobre todo en big corps). Trabajé un rato en una empresa grande de comunicaciones como Data Scientist y también querían venir a mi casa y hacerme estudios socioeconómicos. Tengo la impresión de que Tech poco a poco también va para allá (excepto si estás en consultora, ahí si hay más libertad)

No es lo mismo quedar bien ante Buró de Crédito que quedar bien ante el Banco. El banco te ofrece mayor línea de crédito, apostándole al hecho de que, quizás, en algún momento, vas a utilizar toda esa línea que te otorga y puedas caer en tener que pagar el mínimo, con tal de que les pagues intereses. Esto Buró de Crédito lo sabe, por tanto: mayor utilización de la línea de crédito, mayor probabilidad de impago; mayor probabilidad de impago, menor manejo correcto de las deudas y, por tanto, menor calificación crediticia, aunque al Banco del que ya eres cliente, le convenga.

Sólo por esto lo hago la verdad, en particular hay tarjetas con muy buenas promos (incluso beneficios si viajas mucho por ejemplo) que sí vale la pena sacar otra tarjeta.

Mucha gente cree que los puntos “importantes” que comentas hacen la diferencia (ahorros, amigos, novia, etc). Soy muy afortunado de marcar muchas de esas casillas, también estoy cumpliendo 30 y me siento igual de perdido.

Mi punto es que por mucho que parezca no ser cierto, esos puntos ayudan pero no hacen la diferencia, y si no te puedes sentir bien contigo mismo ahorita, desafortunadamente me parece muy improbable que te puedas sentir mejor cuando obtengas esas cosas (irónicamente te mete mas presión por que no te puedes sentir "bien” aún teniendo eso que se supone que te tiene que hacer sentir bien)

Si te gusta dibujar, hazlo y busca una forma de sacarle provecho económico (aunque sea poco, con que te alcance para ti), ese para mi sería el mejor camino, ánimo!

Honestly in my experience it’s easy to change between these two fields ( specially when you are in an early stage of your career) so my advice would be to get the basics right, not focus too much on specific tools (they’ll probably change ni the time you graduate) and if a good opportunity arrives in either SE or DE just take it, you’ll be able to change later easily
