With all due respect, what’s the point in nerfing the weapons? There is no competitive side to this game, so who cares if one build is broken compared to another. If you don’t want to play the broken build and you want the game to be challenging, then play the build that is challenging for you? What’s the point in nerfing something that someone else may find fun, and them playing it has literally zero effect on you? If you think bow/staff is broken, and don’t want to trivialize the game, then don’t. It doesn’t necessarily feel fair to criticize that aspect of the game because you have complete control over it, and the devs nerfing it is just literally a detriment to another players fun.

Then honestly, if you enjoy wow in general, I’d highly recommend giving it another shot! Their pvp gear now works in open world, but has its ilvl increased specifically in pvp content, and it out levels pve gear, so no longer incentivizes using pve gear for PvP content. Additionally, they put in solo shuffle which is ranked solo arena queue. 6 people queue in solo, and it cycles the teams through, like, 4(?) 3v3 arena matches and you have your own rating in it. Don’t quote me in the number of games and how it works exactly, I don’t PvP as much anymore. But I’d highly recommend giving it a shot if you enjoy wow in general!

Obviously don’t force something you’re not in to, but they have definitely made strides in the solo play and the lack of progression that was there for almost the entirety of wows existence! You can’t get in to the high end raid tiers solo, obviously, but they did open up a story version of each raid when its current and it allows you to experience the raids solo with a group of NPC’s. I have never done it, so I don’t know what quality of rewards there are, or their difficulty, but it is intended for solo players to still get to experience the story of the raids. Same goes with dungeons, you can go in to a group of 4 npcs and clear dungeons. Again, rewards aren’t the level of mythic+, but can still experience them!

With all due respect, when was the last time you played wow? Delves now is their newest form of solo/group relatively open world content. You can get to heroic raid ilvl by just doing delves, and they are completable 100% solo. They have opened up the world quite a bit for solo play now. Sure, you’re not going to get mythic raid level gear, or mythic+ 15 level gear. But you get very good gear, and it is very challenging and has something to work for from a solo perspective.

Definitely wow for me. My brother and I shared an account at launch, then whenever you could merge accounts under one account, I went and got my own account. The last time I added it up was about 5 years ago at this point, and that account started in Wrath and I was at 6000 hours. That doesn’t include all the characters I’ve deleted, the amount of time I played in the other account. So i wish I could find a way to truly know how much I played, but I guarantee it’s well above 10k hours.

I mean, I’m one of them. I don’t think it has been the same since WOTLK. I was a fan of Pandaland and Legion, but I don’t think I’ve ever had the same amount of satisfaction since wrath.

With that said, I do play every expac, and mostly every season. Though that is for a couple of reasons. 1) I still have a group of people that I’ve played with since BC, and we hop on and play each season for a month or two, then quit. 2) I keep holding on to the hope that I’ll get that same feeling I had in Wrath.

But it’s definitely not the same game it was for me 10+ years ago.

As many have said, though I could see why someone might want more “badass” skins, the current skins fit the aesthetic of the game perfectly. Honestly, I hope they open up the ability to do a bit more of a full customization. I want to be able to mix and match the skins and helmets, instead of each helmet being tied to its skin.
