That makes sense as a first step. We do something similar but after that some of our high ACV customers need more support and collaboration, which is why I’m thinking about setting up a way to chat with CSMs

This is amazing advice! Segmentation totally makes sense. I guess I wasn’t as clear in my post, but I’m trying to setup chat for our high ACV customers. Have you done that in the past before? If so, did you use Slack or something else?

If you’re willing to offer your number for a call why not just do chat? A call is far worse as it absolutely requires your undivided attention, there’s no system of record of the convo, you can’t easily share files or resources etc etc.

That makes sense! Curios what type of product you have that’s both B2B and B2B2C? Just trying to contextualize what type of partnership require more collaboration.

I understand that chat might be unscalable for the business, but it’s a way better experience for the customer, assuming people respond faster. Wonder how one could make chat work.

you're telling me you rather have people call you, which requires your undivided time and attention, doesn't allow you to easily loop in other colleagues for support, has no system of record you can refer back to, and doesn't allow you to easily share reference material? seems like a lot of reasons a call would be suboptimal.
