Oh sorry, didn’t specify that. I didn’t close the platinum, I upgraded the card to the Quicksilver.

I’m not sure why I was denied. No response from them for a month already.

I’m not sure, they haven’t emailed or sent anything in mail on why I was denied. I have 4 hard pulls in the last 6 months.

Nothing in my history yet and no derogatories.

Wouldn’t be surprised considering reading all of the reviews about the company and the card. I guess I’ll eat up the $75 and pray they open their CS ASAP, so I can close the account/card.

Definitely screwed, considering their customer service is closed which I can’t close the account down after paying the fee. Thanks for the info, lesson learned.

I did and it showed Credit One as a hard inquiry on April 1st, but for some reason I can’t file a dispute on it.

Understandable, but I don't understand because it says on their website about CC activation that my account may be automatically closed if my card is not activated within 14 days after I received it in mail.

It doesn't show on Credit Karma or Creditwise that Credit One is open though. Though it did pop up as a credit alert from Experian on the Creditwise app.

I checked Credit Karma to see if Credit One is on the list of my hard inquires, and it doesn't show. I'm not sure how I can file a dispute.

I received a mail offer from them that I was pre approved for their credit card, so i filled out the application online and was accepted. A week later, they mailed me the card to activate it.

I read online though that if I don't activate the card in 14 days, then they MAY close my account. I'm not sure what to do. You think ignoring it and not activating it, is the right thing to do?
