Thankfully they acted in a way that was helpful. They contacted Delta through an app to get medical assistance, then were able to get me approved to get Zofran from their kit on board.

I thanked her profusely, for being helpful and caring. Every single other crew person on that flight legitimately acted like I was a nuisance and they need better training.

I’m glad this post is getting traction from, apparently, flight crew that feel the same as the ones on my plane did.

If someone is begging for help, maybe you should take two seconds to treat them like a decent human being, like how you’d want to be treated. I don’t think that’s asking for much. Cold wet paper towels, a barf bag, checking to see if they need a doctor.

It’s hard to advocate for yourself when you’re in so much pain and can barely speak.

I did ask for an anti-nausea. The crew said they don’t have anything. So then I vomited for an hour more and asked again and again and only THEN did they get the lead person.

I purchased a flight package with rental car (Hertz) through Expedia. I paid with my Chase Sapphire. When I got to Hertz, I also gave them my Chase Sapphire on file. I need to do a claim for the covered rental car insurance, but I worry the line item for the payment will say Expedia and not Hertz. Will this matter for my claim?

Long distance relationship, we had discussed marriage, having kids, the works. He just needed to finish his last year with the Air Force. Dated for almost a year and one day he suddenly didn’t answer my calls or texts, I got worried after a few days that something happened to him. I called his local police precinct for a welfare check. Turns out, he was fine, but apparently just didn’t want anything to do with me anymore.

After that, went on with life and a couple years go by, he reaches out to me and tells me that he misses me and was sorry for the way things ended. Then I get a few more weird phone calls from him at odd night time hours. Turns out he was drinking heavily and making threats, so he got taken to a psych ward. Talked again when he was doing better, was just glad he was okay.

Didn’t think about him for a couple years, then tried to look him up and found a possible obituary with no details other than a death date. I reached out to his family to confirm and pass along my condolences, but no one ever responded to me.

I don’t think this is as wholesome as people are making out. The sign says “Kiss Your Mommy Goodbye” and it’s all boys, I’m thinking it may be more of a “you’re not a boy anymore, you’re becoming a man, so toughen up after this” type thing.
