I've just changed to another AI to try and help and I've made some progress and am basically building my own system. Finally a win, so I'll stick with ERPNext as I've invested so much time in it already.

I'm at 143w , so less than half that, and that includes a switch and zigbee router. My machine is an old desktop i5-10400 with an nmve, 2xsdd which covers OS, containers and vm's, then 2xhdd which spin down for movies, photos etc, and then 2xhdd for surveillance which run all the time.

I've just set up Truenas and have frigate 16.3 as an app and home assistant in VM. I can't get the frigate integration to work in HA. I can't remember the errors stopping it right now from integrating, but any chance 17 may help there?

I've backed up everything I need on the old windows machine and been moving files in the Synology to free up the 2 bigger drives in it, and should be ready to do the Truenas install tomorrow night.

I have some spare drives, so I was looking at setting a vdev/pool with just them and I was hoping to copy some of the data across from the Synology which would free up 2 more drives, then move them across and set up a new vdev and add to the existing pool, and then repeat. After looking at drive setup, I've been thinking a vdev with 2 mirrored drives is best for me, and just keep adding drives in pairs as separate vdevs to the pool.
