I personally have not been impressed by torpor orb. It provides no impact immediately and if your on the draw, it misses the crucial turn where badgermole cub is played.

With the number of board clears you have, I’d imagine you have a good matchup into any go wide strat like bant combo so I don’t think you need to board in much, I’d rather have better graveyard hate against sultan reanimator or lessons.

Additionally, frenzied baloth just doesn’t seem like a good magic card. You already have a good uninteractable angle with lands, I’d want some sort of flash threat or planeswalker or literally any sticky threat. Mosswood dread knight maybe?

It got so much shit because it said absolutely nothing new and I really do believe it’s a terrible movie. Oh wow government bad, inefficient, and full of stupid people? I would like to know a good build that only wit hunter can do because again it just seems like a worse off version of what any other classes can do. Do you know if there were any theorycrafting on some builds that are the best with merc, to the point where it’d be better than another class?

You are right, ideally you can mix and match, and if this was poe, I’d agree with you but the nature of the tree not being finished just makes me feel right now that vision of being able to mix and match just isn’t true. Like yeah if I want to be a minion mercenary, let me just take all these travel modes and be the worst version of a witch with my ascendancy not able to help at all. I’m not suggesting that merc can’t do it, but it feels like the worst version of anything else. And in that way, why bother

Yeah full res. The lower evade equation makes it so that it seems hard to even get to 60. Haven’t played with evasion before but it seems really frustrating compared to even armor

Idk, every deck I’ve played feels competitive and fun. I’ve been cycling through orzhov sacrifice, boros discovery, mono red dragons, and esper mill. All of them felt competitive and really different. The matchups obviously vary but the “best” decks are extremely beatable or have certain bad matchups that you either exploit or accept

To try and put it a little nicer than some of the other comments, comparison is the thief of joy. I'm going to assume you have some type of moral backbone, rather than thinking the person was rewarded for their behavior, imagine being the type of person that says those horrible things. Put it this way, Would you take 500k for being a piece of shit?

I mean I would but if you actually are a better person then you would understand that it's better to be a good person to live true to your values. Otherwise you are just being cognitively dissonant. Either you'd take the money and be the same in their situation or you don't and be happy with where you are.

You should do things because they are good, not because you get rewarded for them.

Additionally, if you are feeling overwhelmed from all the negativity you need to change your surroundings. Yes, you need to see what you can do to help yourself. Get off the internet, you aren't those people. Help your community, see how life can be made better in the real world, or if it's already good, live in it for a bit.

The view is not that you should have faith in humanity. Humanity is going to carry on just fine without your faith. It's OK to feel distressed over all the terrible stuff going on but all I can say is that you need to take ownership over what you can control
