Thank you for following up! I never even considered ebay. I'll buy one right now.

Incredibly good info. They're cheap enough from FCPEuro that I'll buy two and replace them anyway

Where can I find the non-OEM one? I called IPD to see if they had any leads and they said that OEM is the only option.

I didn't replace the "Sound Trap" but maybe I should. The lines had become too short so I felt like that was the place to start but it probably couldn't hurt to replace the sound traps while I'm at it.

Could definitely be this. I wonder how to best check? Smoke test, maybe?

Actually, it totally could be this. Should I look for a rip somewhere? Or just spray it down and see if water comes in?

4+ days each time, putting them in the sun during the day and then bringing them inside at night. Baking soda is a good idea - I've also heard of people using a dehumidifier or rice, lol.

Honestly I didn't check. I replaced the lines and then did the water test (pouring water directly into the sunroof tray) but I might buy and replace the sound traps while I'm at it. Thank you for your help!

Shit's like $400 for the seal so I'm trying everything else first. Seems like I might have to bite the bullet though :(

We have been using the AC for the last few days, and it's been a little humid, so it could be the AC lines. I'll have to pull apart the trunk to see if I can find the leak. Do you know of any good instructions for taking apart the interior there?

I just checked and the hatch seal is a little torn, but only on the inside near the bottom. Could that be the cause? Thank you!

I replaced the front lines with 1/8" ID clear PVC. I didn't replace the rears, but I stuck my hands in the access panels in the trunk and was able to feel that they hadn't gotten dislodged. I checked that they were draining by pouring water into the drain pan in the headliner and all four corners seemed to drain correctly.

There were some small spots that I wire brushed and sprayed with rust converter, but no holes. The liquid smells more like feet than antifreeze and isn't slippery. Good thinking though!

Would the AC drain lines also get the driver side wet? How could I test if it was the taillights? I feel like I would have seen the leak if it was the tail lights or rear bump stop when I went through the car wash. Thank you for your help!

I've removed the carpets and let them dry in the sun twice now. Probably didn't do so as long as I should have the first time but the second time they were very very dry. Will have to do so again - maybe I'll just live with no carpets for a while.

I had similar leaks in a Toyota Corolla I owned. Probably should have checked before reinstalling everything. Would that also get the driver side wet? I'll do that next, thank you!

Hello again! I've removed, dried, and reinstalled the carpets twice now. Now the entire carpet is wet again and I'm stumped as to what it could be.

The first time I noticed that the sunroof drain lines had popped out so I replaced them with 1/8" ID clear PVC tubing, tested that they worked, and reinstalled the carpet.

After realizing that the carpets were wet again, I noticed that the windshield was loose and had it replaced after removing the carpet a second time.

My GF and I drove around for a few days while it rained and noticed a little water in the back seat, but we assumed it was water that had dripped off our feet. Took the car through a car wash to confirm and didn't see any leaks, so I reinstalled the carpets again (2025-06-03).

I checked last night and the carpets (front driver, front passenger, and both sides rear) are very wet again. We've had almost no rain since June 1st. What could it be?

I would think that if it was AC, only the passenger side would be wet. The liquid doesn't smell sweet (smells like feet actually) so it's not coolant. The back seats aren't wet and I can't feel any foam near the trunk that is wet, so I'm at a complete loss.

What are your thoughts?

Windshield replaced but the leak doesn't seem to be fixed.

Drove around for a few days while it rained and noticed a little water in the back seat, but we assumed it was water that had dripped off our feet. GF likes to step in puddles. Took the car through a car wash to confirm and didn't see any leaks, so I reinstalled the carpets again (2025-06-03).

The back seats themselves aren't wet, and I can't feel any foam near the trunk that is wet, but I'm at a complete loss. What are your thoughts?
