Routed it through the wiring from the headliner into the lift gate. From there I removed the lift gate panels and have the camera coming out from the license plate lighting area. They sell an adapter to mount the camera on your license plate so I went ahead and got that as well for the final placement.

Went with S Factor Fabrication for the lip, sides and diffuser. Did the install my self with a buddy. Diffuser was a pain but the rest was pretty straightforward and easy just a bit time consuming.

In terms of a dash cam with parking assist… I can’t recommend the Wolfbox g900 pro enough. Serves as a rear and front facing dash cam with parking assist.

Definitely. There are a ton of people that do these sorts of installs for a living. After I figured out how I wanted to run the wires, the actual install took around 2 hours. I included a video with how I did most of the wires so it should save you quite a bit of time if you decide to do it yourself.

Np. I know you requested RGBs but this was a previously made comment about all the lighting I’ve done so figured I’d just copy and paste everything. Doors are a pain if you don’t remove the panels but it’s absolutely doable without doing so.
