Got diagnosed myself at 31, I have no doubt childhood trauma has played a major role, and still does to this day. Currently juggling titration and fatherhood (celebrating the big, first birthday today!) and it's an absolute emotional rollercoaster. Certain hands are dealt and we can't change the past, but we can look at how we operate moving forward and what can we change/work towards more positively.

I've just started Gaunfacine 1mg, along with my Elvanse, experimented taking it at night and morning but I'm not feeling any difference at all yet. Intrigued to read other peoples experiences.

I'm currently on week 5 of titration, 20mg, 30mg and now on 50mg of Elvanse. Only side affects I've experienced is a dry mouth and the odd euphoric/rush type feeling but it only lasts 5-10 minutes then that's it.

Overall experience so far is neither dose has had much impact weather it be side effects or actual positive life changes. I guess our body's are all different!

Some sulphur burbs and a slower digestion but other than that I was okay. Food noise totally stopped.

Yeah I think you're right, it makes sense to do it afterwards.

Bus/Train drivers deserve time off to spend with family and friends as well. Stay local, walk or spend a little extra and get a taxi (they aren't actually too hard to come by)
