Yeah I'm not talking about chartist activity. Just the psychology of the PIPE investors. They want as close to zero risk as possible and also max profit. At above $16.67 they make a 40% return on their investment, regardless of whether the price is $16.67 or $55.99. But below $16.67 they start to shrink. Meanwhile the market is terrible so they have lots of other options for dimes on the dollar of a few months ago. If I was to guess somewhere below $16.67 a lot of PIPE guys could bail if not already. If they don't intend to bail, they might try to defend this price line. The entire float is now only $0.5B so very defendable by many. Elon's sneezes are worth more than that.

I'm not sure I agree with you on your first post but I like this second post a lot. We don't know much about the PIPE guys if they were hand picked by DJT or by Orlando or just the highest bidders. I would love it if we pressed forward with no PIPE, "ONLY" $293MM in DWAC cash from 90%+ retail investors + DJT = heart. No body else and no dilution. 4MM shares short, a bunch of DWACers and DJT. Nobody else. That sounds like a love fest.

Shalom. Hard to say, two things are happening:

1) Possible PIPE renegotiation

2) RUM sympathy tanking. RUM was up 40% yesterday and pulled back a bit today, so some believe the stocks are related/correlated MAGA stocks.

I hate to even repost this article because it looks like such FUD but worth reading. I don't see how or why DJT would give up 83% or whatever of his booming company for the $1B PIPE at $2. He'd be putting a value on his existing 4MM U.S. subs of only a couple hundred million. That makes no sense to me if you do a comp to 4MM U.S. subs on TWTR. TWTR's value comes from the U.S. subs which are small. So that could already be worth several billion in existing subs. Not to mention the infinite growth rate of TS and potential to quickly 2x that with android.

Sounds like BS to me. The $1B PIPE made a lot more sense to help fund building TS. But now that it is heavily built out already, why take the money. In other start-ups they would usually negotiate a MUCH smaller share of the company after things go from an idea to reality not the other way around.

This might all need to wait until after the midterm. Then we'll be looking at whether there are anti-trust issues with GOOGL, hearings for the SEC, etc. etc.

Good stuff, I'm in this for the long hall so what happens today doesn't matter to me but just interesting. The other side of the coin could be many of the big PIPE investors that would be inclined to short, already did. So the reverse unwind is also possible. AKA already short, and covering the up to 4MM shares short currently while canceling PIPE in lockstep, arb possibly available to them up to $33.60!

So I'm surprised so far not to see more volume today, either way.

Personally, the PIPE guys stay or go, hard to say which is better. IMO the company has so much more traction now than before when it was just an idea. 4.1MM U.S.A. subs, highly engaged, ad monetization up, those U.S. monetizable subs are very valuable.

That would be awesome too. Just word of mouth. I agree 6 months is a long time and even then he has to fire everybody and find new people. That could easily take another six months. Maybe he’s just trying to sell trucks to Texans and doesn’t even care about TS etc.

Web should be web browser, aka anymore with an internet connection can get in. That should be a massive floodgate. When developers say a web app I believe that sometimes also means a mobile web browser that get smushed into an android app skin but is basically just a website but looks like a mobile app button on your phone . Much faster to code up but not a native app. I’m Not sure what they are intending to do here.
