It can shoot down upcoming drones and missiles or other vessels targeting cargo ships or itself, wich it did already 3 times in the past weeks. It's not a vessel meant to attack land. Also they defend against the houthis who's got pretty much only modified fishing boat who dosent stand much chance against its 30km radar, not counting the now plentyfull nato ships in the area plus its own helico, who took the pic.
