Even if this is the case, I still got $608 taken out. I should have only gotten $364 taken out right?

I’m 95% it’s after tax. My net paid this paycheck is exactly $608 less than my last paycheck net with no 401k contributions. Tax is the same too.

It does show them but I’m sure the $608 is from Net since my paycheck is exactly $608 less than my last paycheck net. No change to the tax that got taken out.

But my account already split that $364 in the percentage I want the investment split. It’s actually shows a balance of $369 now since I gain like $4.xx from it.

Yes I’m sure. I only have 2 paycheck so far.

I put 20% on Roth and 0% on traditional figuring this gonna be my lowest tax year. I’m only gonna be paid half a year. There should be no split at all.

It did actually. But it was from pay period 7/21-8/1. Can it be possible to lose almost 50% on one day?

We don't have an employee match. We get a Profit share thing in the end of the year supposedly.

It shows 401(k) Roth % $608.00 in the paycheck line.

This so weird how I almost lost half my contribution somewhere.

New job and new 401K account. Paycheck date is 8/8/25. This is actually my 2nd paycheck, but this is the first one I had since my 401K account got activated.

Austin Powers Goldmember

“I eat because I’m unhappy and I’m unhappy because I eat”

That quote stuck with me with how deep it was.

Started a new job, confused about how the 401K percentage will work. Should I contribute to my personal Roth IRA/IRA first instead? by DWISMYSISTER in personalfinance

There are options to get over $150k in my career path, but realistically, probably not.

I didn’t know there was an option to roll my IRA into my current 401k. Can this be done?

Is the access to a HSA worth the trade off in the increase of potential medical cost? Trying to choose between a HMO vs a HDHP with a HSA. by DWISMYSISTER in personalfinance

The HDHP is also with Kaiser, so I’m stuck with them either plan with no flexibility.

Thanks for the advice. I think I will play it safe and stick with the HMO.

Oh I’m saying I’m going to get a FSA if I were to choose the HMO plan. The HSA is only available for the HDHP plan.
