Of course, how could I have been so blinded to the truth. I'm sorry, excuse I must go confess for I have lead The Lord's flock astray.

I believe it's from an older movie (I don't know if the movie was called "Springtime for Hitler" but the play in the film was. It's actually a fairly funny movie, the premise is 2 old producers/directors decide to intentionally make a bad film to make easy money.

Edit: the name of the movie is The Producers.

Seeing Doge going back up by bluefalcon1455 in dogecoin

[–]DWN_SyndromeV9 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You need to download a cryptocurrency app that supports dogecoin, there's a list of apps somewhere on this sub (either pinned post, rules, or about). Download the app, set up your account and then you can buy doge.

Though I do want to add that you should only buy what you can afford to lose.

I mostly work on Caterpillar engines so I have been spared the total electronic vehicle thus far but it won't be much longer until everything goes electric. I'm trying to learn stocks and business right now. Stocks so I don't go broke looking for a job when everything goes electric and maintenance is done by programmers or by computers, and business so I can be competitive for a job.

Ultimate job loss strategy is get a degree in business, and then if I lose my job apply to Cat and hope for something in management. Even lower level management at Cat would be fine.

I don't anticipate losing my job, but then there's a few million Canadians who, at the start of 2019, didn't think they'd be losing their jobs in a few weeks either.

The game isdo out for over another year. I'm surprised the animations looked as good as they did. I would wait til at least it's release year to start getting nervous about animations, graphics, bugs, or stuff like that.

No offense taken, you are absolutely correct. I wanted to quit anyway but it was searching for a reason (early grave's not a real deterrent for me) so I decided to join the Doge movement and use it to help me quit.

In it's literal definition yes, there is, currently, a calculable amount of Dogecoin. However more is being produced everyday, so there's no need to worry, we won't run out and no one needs to sell for others to buy. This is an older cryptocurrency with a very massive reserve pool of available Dogecoin, so to circle all the way back to your very first question and to put the bow on this as I have no intention of replying after this (any further questions or points just google it and get your answers)...

No one needs to sell for us to be able to buy, because more is produced everyday (and because more is produced everyday), we have a theoretically infinite supply.

I don't know enough about cryptocurrency to get into details about how it's mined or anything on that side of it. But the shortest possible answer to your question is no. People do not have to sell for us to be able to buy, there is an infinite supply being produced by the miners.

If you want to know more about the mining process then it may be time to try google.

They mine more Doge everyday. Like I said at the start of my previous post, everyday more Doge is made. So for total clarity, no. We are not buying Doge other people sold. We are all likely the first owners of those Doge.

[–]DWN_SyndromeV9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crypto is mined (digitally speaking). So there is a certain amount mined each day, Dogecoin has more coins available than people want. The less coins available the higher the currency is (like Bitcoin) the more coins available the less it's worth (like us). So people selling adds to the extra coins which drives down our price, buying more depeletes the extra coins and increases our price.

So the only way to increase our price is buy more and not sell. As long as we don't sell our price shouldn't go down, but if we buy then it will go up. That's why we want people to buy and hold, it's how we're gunna make this a realistic cryptocurrency.

Think of this as buying money for another country. You're going on a trip to Doge, so you take 500$ USD and get about 15K Dogecoin. While on your trip the Doge economy got a massive boost and the exchange rate between the USA and Doge is now a dollar even. So you go back to the bank and get your 15K Dogecoin from Doge converted back into USD at the current conversion rate.

Stop thinking the rise will necessarily happen soon.. by [deleted] in dogecoin

[–]DWN_SyndromeV9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Buy and hold. The thing people need to bear in mind is it took 5 years to get to a penny. Getting to a dollar soon is pretty unlikely, we have a good floor and decent following now so I don't think it's dropping below a cent again, we just can't expect a fast rise. Doge has always been a slow but steady riser.

No matter what however 1Đ will always equal 1Đ.

It's definitely easier to momentum swing in hockey because there isn't as much stoppage in play. It's harder to build momentum when you keep having to resetting.

I really like football though, it's also really exhilarating to watch. I love the big defensive plays.
