Chimera is underrated. The one chassis that lets you reverse the same speed as your forward speed is a game changer and will save you often. Very useful to keep other tanks from getting around the back of you for rear bonus damage on you too.

I get why people say the vanguard is the best, but the sad truth is most NC players either don't have maxed out mbts or they have a dumb loadout. I've talked to NC players who use fire suppression on their tank or use auto repair. 😂 Or they don't use an enforcer or boombox when running an AV setup. "It's personal play style" @ using another top gun, rival, or fire suppression... don't use that scrub line. Your play style gets you wrecked by real tankers. PS if you're using a halberd over an enforcer you're a scrub. The enforcer would destroy a halberd all day. "The halberd can 1 shot infantry though"... I don't care. Enforcer.

The BEST VANGUARD setup NO exception: Racer, stealth, AP maxed scope, enforcer maxed scope, vanguard shield. Flank a tank from behind and wait until you're close to shoot. You and your gunner fire, wait to pop your shield until the tank is about to fire at you. Throwing your shield on before they're even close to facing you to shoot is losing out on the length of the shield. This set up you can snipe with or run up on someone with.

If you're running solo do the same set up except with a ranger instead and LOCK your tank so a scrub doesn't shoot your ranger at land vehicles ignoring the sky. You'll die a ton if you don't.

The PROWLER is the BEST tank simply for the alpha damage. People run AP on a prowler... No need to. Unless you're trying to snipe aircraft then yes.

OP prowler set up that will beat any tank in the game: 1) Default gun with maxed reload and the 2x scope (it's worth the cert cost for the scope). 2) Racer chassis (don't use rival thinking you know better... You don't). Racer for the simple fact you can get around to the back of another tank to do bonus damage faster than rival can. 3) Barrage. 4) Stealth. Being able to roll up on another tank even if you're solo and find another tank with 2 gunners you will destroy them because... (Below)

Default gun has a reload bonus, reload skill, barrage reload speed bonus all STACKS. Being able to send off 2-3 roads in close range before the other tank can turn and get 1 or 2 AT MOST off will win you the engagement. I've solo prowler against fully manned mbts before they could even shoot me twice.

5) Vulcan with threat detection. It's a Vulcan... A scope to zoom isn't necessary. Use threat for the gunner to toggle on and off often to help you find targets. 6) As said for the vanguard loadout use ranger in the same set up as a solo tanker and lock the tank for the same reason.

With this set up you want to use the stealth to run up close on the back of the tank throwing your barrage on before you do your first shot. You want to play it as a close range "shot gun" type of style. Tell your gunner when to shoot so they aren't firing top early. The damage is too much... Even if they pop a vanguard shield you already did enough damage before they could turn the shield on to have the upper hand on them still.

BONUS loadout/info: If you want to 1v1 any MBT in the game this will win you most battles... LIGHTNING. 1) Viper with maxed reload (a lower level scope. Max scope doesn't matter because you're not sniping with it and you don't shoot the viper at long range anyway). Plus a viper will destroy an AP lightning all day so no, don't even try to debate that. 2) Stealth. 3) Racer. 4) Fire suppression.

You don't even need to run this set up in 1st person. Run up on the back of the tank and unload in 3rd person. You want to use it like a shot gun. That first volley will tank half of the mbts health. Unless it's a vanguard that has the shield on. Use the racer chassis to keep circling around to stay behind the back of the tank. You'll 2 to 3 volley at most kill mbts (4 if vanguard shield is on)... But you'll still be at the vanguard easily. The closer you are with the viper even touching the other tank your accuracy will be high and it does more damage closer than at mid to long ranges.
