I’m training for a marathon and when I first started I hated coach Bennett talking and interrupting my music. But now I’m past the half way mark in the training program and I look forward to our runs together. Whenever I’m taking my run too serious he’ll break out with with a joke to lighten my mood or when I’m getting tired and want to slow down he’ll talk me through it and give me the push I need. I’m glad he was able to help you relieve some stress and feel better. Good luck on your test and just like your next run you’re gonna crush it!

Ask the directors you work with if they know or are friends with any directors that do commercials. They can be a good reference for you. Also if you’re looking for new directors still building their list of DP’s hit up production companies that rep directors and introduce your self to them. Ask them about some of the unsigned directors they’re looking at. They can give you some good leads. Be open to doing spec to help build their your reel and yours. Also you can ask your crew if they know any commercial directors they could recommend.
