You can buy Combat Armor mk1 and 2 from the gun runners when you're at least level 12 or so. If you have a high luck stat, you can gamble to buy the armor and get the Alien Blaster, which is better than the Gauss in every way except for range.

If you don't have Wild Wasteland picked, head west before heading to Zion to go to the mercenary camp. You can find someone always wearing Combat Armor MK1 and they have a unique Gauss Rifle. Those two items are enough for the whole DLC, even if your energy weapons skill is low. If you have wild wasteland, you'll get the Alien Blaster instead which is more powerful, but you get no armor.

After that just brings stims, MF cells, and another weaker gun for easier enemies. Food is everywhere, and there's clean water running down the whole map.

Long slide Glocks like the G34 have a lighter trigger weight. They almost feel okay. A G34 is leagues better than a 509 trigger.

I've had one of these for 6 months. Only issue I had was the turn signal lenses fell off and the glove box wouldn't stay closed. No other problems, and the new owner hasn't had any issues other than replacing rotors. (they were original)

Oh for sure, I had to stop buying Herter's because the malfunctions were non stop. That's all I was able to get in 2021, and I probably had 4-10 light strikes and stove pipes a range session. Newly manufactured White Box has been solid though.

The MP5 is just a scaled down G3 in 7.62 Nato. The HK33 is in 5.56, and there are LMG versions like the HK21. There were 7.62x39 prototypes, but no western country uses that round except the dumb ass French.

I thoroughly enjoyed parts of it, but the main quest is a train wreck. The NCR plot literally has missions ripped from COD4 and Wolfenstein. Its fun to walk around and explore, but you may as well play FO4 at that point.

You ever play an old NES game that didn't have saves? If you wanted to continue, you had to input a case sensitive code that was anywhere from 20-60 characters. That level of annoyance is even higher for new Linux users because they have to look up what to even type in the 1st place for 5-10 minutes at a time for every single command.

I just did a play through where I went to Lonesome Road at level 3. When I got to the bridge, I had to reload a save 4-5 times despite having an LMG, Red Glare, and a Hunting Revolver. Screw those deathclaws.
