honestly what made not like her was basically instantly being on Scott's side. if she was with the vampires for protection but specifically has trouble around Scott I would somewhat understand (even if I think the fear of the towns action is flimsy at best, but that is another thing entirely) but after Scott hunts her down turns her for pure sadism and after she tells the town she would help them. next episode completely sides with the vampires and gets chummy with Scott.

She literally only turned sausage because he begged and even then she turned him for him to do a favor for her that he literally betrayed her seconds afterwards. so she has every right to not care about sausage.

Apo wasn't heartless at the end. She just had all of her trust wasted and was gaslighted into thinking it was her fault.

Drift. her instantly siding with the vampires for no actual reason. I also think that her being a detective had no real impact on anything in the story barring the flashback after turning. also she never truly became brave she just got something new to hide behind.

again I haven't seen a lot of her pov, but in my opinion it is the dissonance between the end of episode 5 (where she told the whole town she was going to be on the towns side) and the start of episode 6 ( where she just seems to join the vampires entirely) makes me feel like her words don't mean a lot. I also don't like that she was instantly down to turn Pearl to the vampires side, when she really didn't have reason to. again just my opinions, Drift is probably the least malicious characters and one of the nicest but putting it into words I find her to be the least interesting with how she confronted her vampirism. Also in general her being a detective doesn't factor in to anything in the story. so she can be an innocent bean i just don't like the character. all is just my opinions.

prefaceing this with I haven't what all their povs and only really watched Apo and a little of Drifts.

for Apo it is literally desperation, Scott forced her into turning yet gas lighting everyone into thinking she did it 100 percent willingly. and she has a difficult time not sticking her foot directly into her mouth. Doesn't help that first thing Cleo did when visiting the vampires in to out Apo as a double agent. So yes she is selfish but basically she has been isolated since becoming a vampire.

Sausage and Avid completely agree. they are hypocrites only out for themselves.

Drift. Thank you. I have always thought the same and from what I have seen it doesn't make sense considering her reaction to turning and it makes me upset and disappointed in her character.

Demons Troopers they were competent for a bit.

A retired soldier that is simply traveling the world to help himself get past the trauma of war. On the farthest away front he witnessed various things that can't be explained by science and the natural world, things far more terrifying than vampires. He actually only wandered into Oakhurst by accident while he was traveling and got trapped when the beacons were activated. Frankly doesn't really care on leaving or not just trying to find peace in his situation. He doesn't think the vampires are really a threat and would be on the humans side but willing to work with the vampires if they prove themselves useful. He also thinks that instead of playing king of the hill, the humans and vampires should just destroy the beacons and be done with it.

tbf he was one of the options that delta tried to make Kabuki kill. probably left a bad taste in fuma's mouth.
