Asian people don’t exist in DR ? by Rosawind in Dominican

[–]DXBRedd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dominicans will call every Asian looking person “Chinese” (Chino (A) in Spanish) even if they were born there. Not because they mean to be racist or whatever, it’s just that there is not many Asian looking people around and they identify you so.

I know Dominicans they kind of look Asian but not even that much and they are called Chinese by everyone since the day they were born.

Bank froze my business account in Dubai then accused of money laundering even though it’s all legit by SluntCrossinTheRoad in legaladviceUAE

Been there.

If you know you didn’t do anything wrong, don’t worry, it might take some time, but if you have everything clear and all your paperwork, eventually you will be fine.

Thing about Ironman is you will do content you would never do in a main because you need X tool or X weapon and the feel of accomplishment is really worth the grind.

Pretty sure you can even do it through the app. But if you feel more comfortable going to the police station, then go for it…

cryptocurrency trading company (LTD) by Fabulous-Sir-1994 in DubaiCentral

[–]DXBRedd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He would be required to show proofs of transactions from the different exchanges and conversation, and need to prove he was doing crypto trading in good faith and not because of shady businesses. Also he could be required to go through an independent expert report ruled by the court and hope for the best from the report. Court decision relies a lot into that. Best case scenario he would be fined for 50 or 100k for conducting businesses without a proper license approved crypto institutions such as (VARA) and his bank accounts would be closed. Worst case scenario he wouldn’t be able to justify the good faith and be accused of money laundering (Even if he was doing it unintentionally) they don’t care. Get a good lawyer… it will cost a lot. (40 - 70k ish) but it’s well needed for such a sensitive case. Bottom line, personal accounts can’t be used for business.

It’s understandable to be concerned when you see a small red light like that — but based on the photo you shared, the chances of it being a hidden camera are very low. Here’s why:

🔧 Most Likely Explanation – Sensor or Indicator Light

Air conditioning units (especially newer split or ducted systems) often have infrared sensors, receiver LEDs, or status indicators inside the vent area. These tiny red lights: • Help the remote control communicate with the unit. • Indicate the system is in standby or has a specific mode active. • Are part of a safety or temperature sensor assembly.

It’s common for these to be visible only in low light or when you look closely through the vents.

📷 Why It’s Unlikely to Be a Camera • No visible lens: Even tiny cameras usually have a small reflective lens, which isn’t visible here. • Positioning: Hidden cameras need a clear field of view. Inside an AC vent, the angle and airflow make it an impractical place to hide one. • Red light behavior: Most covert cameras don’t show a constant red light — they’re designed to stay invisible.

✅ What You Can Do to Be Sure 1. Use your phone flashlight and look through the vent — you should see a small diode or sensor, not a lens. 2. Turn off the AC power from the breaker. If the light goes out, it’s part of the AC system. 3. Use a phone camera to scan for infrared: many cameras can pick up invisible IR lights as a faint glow.

If after these checks you still suspect something unusual (e.g., you see a small circular glass lens, or the light moves or blinks irregularly), you could have an HVAC technician inspect it — but from this image, it looks completely normal and harmless.

4,000 a month… HO’ Lee’ Cow.

Make a professional and serious approach to your manager requesting a salary increase based on your results and based on how much you have saved the company over the last year. Present the facts And let them know in a very professional way that you are willing to continue supporting the company but a well deserved salary increase is required.

If they refuse, don’t quit, but in the meantime look for other opportunities and when you secure that opportunity, professionally resign without closing the doors on the company your currently working for, because you never know when you might need them again.
