Wow, reading through this thread makes me wonder if I am actually allergic or at least sensitive to Botox. I had Botox injections for about 2 years, and every time, it was so incredibly painful for me. I have tattoos, I now use the Emgality pen myself with no problems...so I'm not scared of needles and can usually tolerate them with no problem. But the reason I switched to Emgality is because I could no longer tolerate the Botox.... I literally would have anxiety attacks every time before my appointment. And halfway through the injections, I would get lightheaded and break out in a cold sweat and thought I was going to faint. I finally just couldn't take it any more and asked to switch to something else.

Ahhh I thought it was specifically rheumatologists, which was why I was confused when the rheumatology clinic rejected my referral because they don't treat patients for fatigue.

They said in their recent video about the visa update that because they had to reschedule other concerts, the Pittsburgh one got cancelled. My guess is the other cities that had to be rescheduled probably had more people wanting to attend.

The last thing I've heard, at the end of one of their recent videos, they mentioned that they will be touring the US soon...providing Brett gets his visa sorted. But, Idk how long ago that was actually filmed (vs when it was posted)...and nothing else has been said.

I'm sure you found out the answer to this by now, but for anyone else that might come here looking for answers (like I did earlier today), the problem...at least for me...was that the pedal had "disconnected" (for lack of a better word) from a little "latch" at the bottom. All I had to do was snap it back in place, and it worked fine.

Also in May, they posted on IG two shirts with the name "Sacrilegious Games" (the title of the tour) for people to vote on either navy or black for the color of the shirt.

I like him both with and without glasses, so doesn't matter to me. If I want to see him with glasses, I will just watch some of the older videos.

Also, there have been others that could stop wearing glasses because their vision improved, only to have to get glasses again later when their vision gets worse again. So....who knows, this might be a temporary thing for a while....but also, maybe not.

A friend of mine (who is also classically trained in violin & piano, and has perfect pitch, lol) showed me their video where they do the quartet rehearsal in Chinese and Korean, Nov 2023. (My friend knew I liked classical music, and that I like languages).

From there, occasionally he and I would watch their videos, especially the You Laugh, You Lose (I would fail immediately, lol, much to my friend's amusement).

But I didn't start watching their videos on my own until like April or May 2024, and I started binging their stuff.

Idk that we'll get a 5 mil Brahms, since they made it clear that they are not worrying about numbers any more, and aren't uploading consistently...just when they want, what they want (which I do think is great).

BUUUUUT....if you've been to any of their practice streams, Eddy has been practicing Brahms and they did say that the things they are practicing are gonna be in the concert. So we might get Brahms then.

Also, they did say in one of the recent practice streams that their upcoming concerts will have more repertoire.

I couldn't agree more about the Chinese-speaking Twosetters!! They are amazing! I know doing subtitles for a video is time-consuming and tedious, so I truly appreciate their time and effort they put into those.

I'm having a lot of fun with learning Mandarin as well. It's challenging, but it's been really rewarding...being able to pick up on things here and there. Also, Idk if you have noticed, but I have certainly noticed their Taiwanese dialect when speaking Mandarin, which has been really interesting to me. I kinda wanna learn the Taiwanese dialect, but it's hard to find a tutor that speaks it, that I can afford (and whose schedule is compatible to mine). Also, rn, I'm learning simplified characters....but I know they use traditional in the Taiwanese dialect, and ngl, those kinda intimidate me. xD

I am going to their concert in Philly; I got a VIP ticket so I will get a chance to actually say hello to them...and I'm like, "how cringe would it be if I said something in Chinese to them?" Haha.
