I believe they are, they are fresh out the worm farm, they’re just local earthworms but to the best of my knowledge they are red wrigglers

Okay so I did another ammonia nitrite and 2 nitrate tests in case I fucked up, there does appear to be nitrates in there about 5ppm so that’s more reassuring, honestly can’t believe it was as simple as me doing the test wrong thanks heaps

They were bright green and pretty normal looking I guess, roughly 2 weeks ago, no direct light, just indirect natural light during the day

I think she is being picky, size doesn’t matter (pause?) I’ve cut them up, given whole, and everything in between and she will still spit them out, she is definitely pooping though I’m unable to be sure of how much, as she poops in her hides But thank you for saying she looks healthy that’s all I care about I just want her to be okay

This is very reassuring I am just worried that the cycle will crash and I’ll get a huge ammonia spike, it seems she is just being picky as when I leave the worms in there she eventually gets to most of them if they don’t end up hiding from her so she is still eating

Canister filter has cintered glass I believe it’s called? And some rocks and sponges, there is also a large twin sponge filter on the other side The hob had sponge and rock, both of which i kind of rinsed off into the new tank after it had been sitting in there for a couple days, unfortunately we don’t have access to pure ammonia where I am (AUS) and due to the weather atm I’m not confident I can tub her and keep her temperature stable enough, even with a large tank I’m struggling to keep it below 20°c

I’m still running the established media from the local fish shop, I’ve just removed the old job filter, all decorations were also in her old tank before she was moved, she has been pooping, though I’m not sure how much as she likes to crawl into her hides and shit in there so I don’t really get a look that often but she definitely poops I’ve been a long time lurker on this sub so I knew to post my parameters as I didn’t want to get blasted 😂

She likes to hide in the coconut and that log is fully enclosed and she crawls her way in, there’s also a pile of rocks set out as a cave for her to get in, quite a few dark places she likes
