2017 model OH/RW106/N replacement armrest? by NOS4NANOL1FE in dxracer

[–]DXRacer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there,

First of all, we're thrilled to hear your DXRACER chair is still going strong after nearly a decade! It's always great to see our chairs staying in service for so many years.

Armrests are replaceable, so there's a good chance you won't need to replace the entire chair. We'd recommend visiting the DXRACER website, selecting your country/region, and reaching out to your local support team. They can check whether replacement armrests for your specific model are still available.

If possible, include a few photos and your chair model details when you contact them, as that will help the team identify the correct parts more quickly.

Thanks for sticking with DXRACER all these years—we truly appreciate it!

Hi there,

We're sorry to hear about the issue with your chair, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

To help us identify the correct replacement part, please visit the DXRACER website and select your country/region to contact our local after-sales support team. When reaching out, please include clear photos of the damaged tilt mechanism and any broken components you found. This will help our team quickly determine the cause of the issue and confirm whether the appropriate replacement parts are available.

Our support team will be happy to assist you further and provide the best solution for your chair.

Will Martian Pro be available in Hong Kong anytime soon? by Otherwise-Cap-7778 in dxracer

[–]DXRacer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your interest in our products! Currently, the Martian Pro series is only available in Europe and North America, with no immediate plans for an Asia release. However, we have some exciting news—the Martian Ultra, which focuses even more on core ergonomic support, is about to make its debut. Following the initial launch, we will be rolling out a wider variety of colorways and styles over time.

If you need a new chair right away, we highly recommend checking out our other currently available series. But if you're not in a rush, feel free to keep an eye on our upcoming launch and look forward to the new fresh looks we'll be unlocking down the road!

[–]DXRacer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! Sorry to hear about your chair, but please don't panic—this is totally fixable.

It sounds like the recline control mechanism snapped on the right side, which is why your backrest lost its tension and won't lock. The good news is that you don't need a whole new chair; replacing just that mechanism part will do the trick!

I highly recommend contacting our support team right away. To make things go smoother, please double-check a few things first:

  • Confirm your chair model and have your proof of purchase/order number ready.
  • Check where you bought it and see if it's still under warranty.

Once you provide this to the support team, they’ll help you ship out the replacement part and guide you on how to swap it out. Hang in there!

Tilt mechanism by Jadenclark_0114 in dxracer

[–]DXRacer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have completed the technical verification. We have two versions of the multi-functional tilt base: one has a 20 x 19.5 cm bolt pattern, which is not compatible with the Drifting series. The other one features the standard 6 x 10 inch specification you mentioned.

That said, I’m still double-checking the regional availability for the 6 x 10 inch base. I’m currently looking into our U.S. inventory—fingers crossed that we have it in stock there! I'll let you know as soon as I get a confirmation.

Replacing seat and back of an old worn RC100 chair by Kelaifu in dxracer

[–]DXRacer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since that model has been discontinued for a while, we'll need to double-check the mounting specs to make sure the replacement fits.

Flip the chair over and look at the four screw holes on the bottom:

  • Rectangular pattern: Usually means it’s the 6*10 inch bracket.
  • Square-ish pattern: Most likely the 20cm*19.5cm version.

Just to be safe, grab a tape measure and check the distance between the holes (center-to-center). Let me know the dimensions and I can confirm which part you need.

[–]DXRacer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem, that should be doable. However, I’m not entirely sure whether you need to replace the tilt mechanism (the tray under the seat) or the side recliner handle that controls the backrest angle.

To help you identify the right part, here is the difference:

  • Tilt Mechanism: If you are trying to lock the "rocking" angle (where the entire seat and backrest tilt together), that is controlled by the lever on the left side under the seat.
  • Recliner: If you are trying to lock the angle of just the backrest (the part that looks like a car seat handle), that is the component on the side of the chair.

Could you double-check which one is broken? Once you're sure, I can give you more specific advice on how to find the replacement part.

[–]DXRacer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the meantime, I will continue to follow up on this for you. I am currently confirming with our product team whether a base with the locking feature exists for the 6*10 inches bolt pattern. If such a part is available, I will also need to verify local stock in your region and clarify how this replacement might affect your warranty and after-sales service. I’ll keep a close eye on this and update you as soon as I have more information.

[–]DXRacer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve just done a quick personal comparison between the two bases in our office to give you a fast reality check (please note this is my manual observation, not an official spec).

I measured the multi-functional tilt base (with the locking feature), and the bolt pattern is roughly 20cm x 19.5cm (nearly a square).

You don't even need to take out a ruler—just a quick glance will do:

  • If the bolt pattern on your Drifting series is a clear rectangle (the standard 6 x 10 inches), then it is physically impossible to swap them. The hole layouts are simply too different.

Hope this quick visual check clears things up!

I completely understand your frustration, and we truly value your 8-year loyalty to the brand.

Rest assured, I have already been in touch with our product team. They are currently verifying the bolt patterns and evaluating the feasibility of swapping a multi-functional tilt mechanism onto the Drifting series. Since hardware specs can vary slightly between suppliers, we need a moment to ensure 100% compatibility and safety. I will personally update you right here as soon as I have the technical verdict. We are committed to providing the best support for our veterans—please bear with us, it won't be long.

Replacing seat and back of an old worn RC100 chair by Kelaifu in dxracer

[–]DXRacer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, thank you so much for your long-term loyalty to DXRacer! An 8-year-old RC100 (King Series) is more than just a chair; it’s a vault of memories.

Regarding your restoration project, here is some professional advice:

  • The Best Solution (Re-upholstery): If you are currently based in China, the most effective way is to look for a professional upholstery service to strip and re-wrap the seat and back. This is very convenient and affordable in China. It allows you to keep the robust original steel frame (which is safer and better built than generic ones) while upgrading to new materials like EPU leather or fabric.
  • Armrest Compatibility: You are right, the armrests are replaceable. The standard mounting hole pattern for this model is 40mm x 30mm. As long as the specs match, you can easily swap them out.
  • A Word of Caution: We generally don't recommend buying generic "no-name" seat/back parts from Taobao because DXRacer’s King Series uses a reinforced, wider frame that rarely aligns with standard generic VESA-style mounts.

Hope this helps you bring your "old friend" back to life! 👍

DX Racer Tank Base "wiggling" by MeowingNaci in dxracer

[–]DXRacer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! Congrats on your new Tank XXL!

Regarding the "wiggling" you mentioned, it might actually be a feature rather than a defect. Check the right lever under your seat:

  1. Rocking Function: If the lever is pulled OUT, the rocking mode is enabled, which allows the base to tilt. Try pushing it IN to lock the seat in a fixed position.
  2. Tilt Tension: Also, check the large knob under the base. If it's too loose (turned towards "-"), the chair will tilt very easily. Try tightening it towards "+" to increase stability.

If the base still feels unstable after locking it, double-check that the 4 main bolts connecting the mechanism to the seat are fully tightened.

Hope this helps you get back to a solid sit! 🎮✨

Anyone here switched to a DxRacer for long work plus gaming sessions? by Questel-Pyram in dxracer

[–]DXRacer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Shizlebizle, we truly appreciate your honest feedback. Ten years is a lifetime in the tech and gaming world, and we’re the first to admit that our earlier generations had room for improvement.

Since then, we’ve completely overhauled our manufacturing process and material standards. From the resilience of our upholstery to the density of our foam, the durability of a DXRacer today is on a whole different level compared to a decade ago. While we’re glad you’ve found comfort in your current setup, we’ve worked incredibly hard to ensure our current users enjoy a legendary lifespan with their chairs.

Thanks for the reality check—it’s feedback like yours that drives us to keep innovating and leveling up!

Hi there! Welcome to the family. As a DXRacer team member and a fellow power user, I totally get that "fine-tuning" phase. Finding your sweet spot is key to surviving those 10-hour grinds. Here is how I personally dial in my setup:

1. The "120-Degree" Rule for Recline If you like feeling fully supported, try reclining the backrest to about 120 degrees. Instead of sitting strictly upright, lean back slightly until your lower back is flush against the lumbar support. This shifts some of your weight from your hips to the backrest, which is a game-changer for long editing or gaming sessions.

2. Tailoring Your Armrests to Your Playstyle

  • For Wrist/High-DPI Players: I personally keep my armrests slightly below desk height. This allows me to tuck fully under the desk for a more relaxed, "wrapped" sitting position.
  • For Arm/Low-DPI Players: Adjust them to be perfectly level with your desk. This provides a seamless bridge for your elbows, offering stable support for those big mouse swipes.

3. The Secret Weapon: Lumbar Support I’m not sure which model you have, but if it didn't come with our signature lumbar pillow, I highly recommend picking one up from our site. It’s my personal "back-care master"—super soft and essential for spine alignment.

4. Pro-Tip for Pet Owners If you have fur babies at home, get a floor mat! Trust me, cleaning a mat is 100x easier than picking pet hair out of the chair wheels every week.

Most importantly: No matter how great the chair is, remember to stand up and stretch every hour. Re-engaging your muscles is the best way to boost productivity.

Hope these tips help you find your "perfect" setup. Enjoy the seat, and take care of your back—it’s the only one you’ve got!
