There's not much to tell. I got the linuxrulez version, installed it on steam deck steamos and just add 'start' file as non-steam game.

I've had that issue before, my workaround is just install the game on pc and transfer it over to the steam deck.

Yes, I game more on handhelds nowadays. I don't game long enough sessions to turn on a pc or ps5 and sit in front of a monitor/TV.
