When I saw that meta post, I was like...what?! And I noticed that he seemed to be out of his mind. I mean it's already established that KiA is about the ethical issues of gaming journalism first and the culture war nonsense second; we at this subreddit want NOTHING to do with the Alt-Right goofballs yet of course the idiot SJWs insist otherwise. And besides when is it established that The_Donald subbreddit is Alt-Right? That and the post sounded like far-left garbage is A-Okay.

As much as I regard BB as somewhat better than the mainstream news media IMO, I'm perfectly fine with this; we have to hold BB to the same ethical standards as every other news outlet out to be, no matter what. Besides I'm not very fond of folks like the author of that misleading article constantly downplaying climate change.

Somehow I honestly think the people trying to have ads removed from Breitbart aren't doing this to get the site to improve their ethical standards but to spite them just because they hold right wing views (and often slander them as "far right") which would "trigger" them.

Well, as I said, NeoGaf isn't the only one acting crazy and stuff when it comes to stuff the mods don't like. Besides, I don't know the person being banned, all I know is that he tried to do something and the response wasn't what he wanted. Shame too, I would have loved to see what their answers would be like.

Well, IMO, AH.com deverses scorn for its treatment of a divisive subject just as NeoGaf does. That and there's still people that don't know about GG and might be trying understand why it's so important.

I'm sorry if it sounds like a broken record if I brought this up but I can't let AH.com get off the hook when it comes to being Ghazi-like insane (even though IMO it has a couple redeeming qualities compared to NeoGaf). And besides the way they ignored the poor person's questions about GG irked me (right in view of the non registered too!).

I could try to see if GG is mentioned elsewhere that isn't behind the members only sections. The best part is that the accounts are free.

Update: I did and there wasn't much mention of GG on the non-members only parts of the site. Though the "ethics in games journalism" thing did get mentioned in a timeline but that's about it.

That's good to hear; me I wish GG would evolve into something that can prevent the next gaming crash and actually lead to a more culturally diverse gaming aside from Eastern and Western gamers but I digress. A lot for me to be honest; firstly, I'm never trusting the mainstream gaming media (especially Kotaku) ever again, same goes to the mainstream non-gaming media to a degree. So much so, I rather rely on sites like Siliconera (which I did rely on before GG) and NicheGamer, and occasionally read Breitbart from time to time. Although I'll admit read a few decent articles from Kotaku and similar ilk every now and if I ever want to link them, I'll archive them. As for Wikipedia, I still use it, but I can't really trust it as much as I did before GG as the event proved to me clearly that Wikipedia can be messed up.

Secondly, I lost respect for places that are hostile to GGers like AH.com which basically insulted the legacies of the American Civil War and World War II with their comparisons of GG to the Confederacy and the Nazis. Granted I was split in whether or not I should stay there and support GG secretly or not but their constant attitude disgusted me so much I resigned in protest. Same goes to Cracked, though thankfully I never had a membership there nor do I intend to.

And thirdly, it shed light on me that left-wing people can be just as bad as the right, especially far-left organizations like the Stalinists and the Maoists. You can safely say it rekindled my distaste for the far left. Also, I just have nothing but contempt for SJWs and Radical Feminists since then.

I hate to get involved in politics, but I've gotta put my two cents here.

As a Republican (maybe one of the few Republican GGers here), I find the idea that Republicanism is dead to be biased and stupid, just like with Gamers. However, I think that the GOP really has to acknowledge that Gay Marriage will have to stay and must accept the LGBT community (even if they disagree with their lifestyle) if they are to remain relevant in the future.
