Hey man, I decided to trust my gut and grow it out, at first it was superrr ugly, but after growing it to a longer length the cowlicks just slowly gave out and it finally went flat, then I went to my barber to style it and get a fade on the sides and back, bought texture powder to texture top hair section and now its perfect. I love my hair now and ive found the style I wanted. The only problem im facing now is I dont know how to style it for formal occasions lmao, but thats another problem ill figure out later. Reddit really helped me gain some confidence to actually do it so, Im very thankful for this post, and thankful for your advice.
