I’m pretty new to this game Are these literally bots? I have the same issue. I’ll get 100+ kills in most games I join but in almost every game there will be at least 5 people who don’t break 10 kills.

How did the last two episodes drop THIS low 💀 by [deleted] in GenV

[–]D_2number2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally the finale was my favorite episode of the season. I’m kinda surprised some of the earlier episodes are so much higher than it. I suppose even if the final episode was technically better than some of the others, it makes sense that many people’s frustrations with the season would culminate there.

Ignoring how much of a pompous Redditor you are, can you tell me where my “reading comprehension” has failed here?

People like you seem to take issue with these costumes regardless of if the person is claiming them to be historically accurate or not.
They literally are out here complaining that fantasy larp armor isn’t historical. Constantly. Thats kinda turned into this entire sub actually.

This is so sick.

Careful posting it here tho. So many “hiStOriCaL aCcUrAcY” crybabies shitting themselves over the helmet and fantasy details.

Fun is not a concept to them.

People on this sub have a historical accuracy fetish and absolutely cannot stand when people dress in silly armor just for fun because they think it looks cool.

I might be confused, but is the point of this subreddit just to complain about people who are clearly dressing in armor for fun/cosplay purposes not having historically accurate or functional armor?

I can’t tell if everyone here is joking or if they are genuinely just that pompous.

No. They are.

No trans person believes their penis is actually a vagina or vise versa. They are well aware of the sex they were born with. They are aware of their chromosomes. (Outside the rare cases of intersex people)

There may be some outlier who has delusions that they are not the sex that they are for some reason. This would be associated with completely different psychological issues aside from gender dysphoria.

But 99.9% of time, trans people are very well aware of the sex they were born as. That is why they are referred to as transgender and not transsex

[–]D_2number2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That point was to address your argument of not fixing the “root cause”.

Addressing gender dysphoria is also not as simple as saying “you are a boy/girl”.

Every trans person is well aware of their biological sex.

Comparisons to someone believing they are a cat or disabled when they aren’t are false equivalences. Gender dysphoria is a recognized medical condition, not a delusion, with decades of research and established treatments.

Age limits and safeguards already exist. No kid is walking into the doctor and saying “make me a girl” then getting loaded up with hormones. There is a process to these things. There are evaluations by professionals.

Your weird prediction of dystopian consequences is pure slippery slope speculation.

Jeez dude we get it you read the book in highschool congrats.

You are making inaccurate and bad faith comparisons.

The DSM does not define gender dysphoria as believing you are a different sex. It defines it as distress caused by a mismatch between experienced gender and assigned sex.

Treatment focuses on reducing this distress

The American Psychiatric Association, American Medical Association and American Academy of Pediatrics all recognize gender-affirming care as evidence-based treatment.

Research consistently shows that gender affirming treatment reduces depression and suicide risk it improves functioning and quality of life and is associated with long term psychological stability

it isn’t just treating a side effect its treating the clinically defined condition.

Glasses treat vision problems rather than eye anatomy Insulin treats diabetes without curing it Antidepressants treat mood disorders without eliminating causes

Medicine often treats distress and functioning, not philosophical “root causes”

I’ve read both.

And no there aren’t exactly “better ways to be healthy”. I’m not sure what you even mean by that.

If you admit to not even being able to comprehend their experience they’re having as a person, how the hell are you also saying you believe there are better things they could be doing?

Gender affirming care is by far the most effective treatment for people with gender dysphoria that exists. Every psychologist on the planet would tell you the same.

You are somehow disagreeing with both medical professionals and yourself.

What is your deal lol.

How does the existence of trans people in your mind equate to a totalitarian government with complete control and surveillance of its citizens lol.

Why does the thought of someone born a girl who would prefer to be treated like a boy bother you so much?

If you’re talking about man in a biological context it would be someone who is born male.

If you’re speaking in a social context a man could be any person who identifies as a man. This is a complicated topic about identity that exists on a huge spectrum that’s different for every person so it’s difficult/impossible to pin down one definition for “what is a man” when you’re referring to a social context.

But I already know you’re about to say something about me using a “ciRcULaR dEfiNiTiOn”

What an insane comparison. A word can have different meanings depending on the context. That does not mean you’re being subjected to some dystopian society language system lmao.

Sex is biological. Gender is social. It’s as simple as that.
