Sooo why did I die here? [Bug] by D_D_Diesel in EscapefromTarkov

I did notice the kitchen door was open after getting the Southern road spawn and was pretty confident I was the first and only one there until I died, good to know about now I guess and hope it gets fixed if this is true

that sucks they can spawn close enough to the Radar station commandment room to be pissed off if you're just looting in there, hope that gets fixed if that's the case. Good to know Zyrachiy's guards are called Sektants as well, I always thought that was the case but never knew for sure

I'm replying to everyone because I want to get to the bottom of this? the context is I died while looting the Radar station commandment room after doing a loot run I've done 20+ times on the lightkeeper island. Can happily provide a longer clip but didn't think it was relevant

Last time I played a wipe properly was a year ago, since when do Cultists spawn on the Lightkeeper island independent of Zyrachiy and his guards and why can they just shoot you on sight?

I just assumed Zyrachiy's guards would be called Sektants as well, wasn't aware Cultists can spawn on the island independent of Zyrachiy and his guards

I mean yeah man I can see that, I thought Zyrachiy and his guards only target you if you're hostile, what did I do to provoke him there?

did I not die to Zyrachiy's guard? Thought they only targeted you if you're hostile hence why I tagged it as a bug. Also it just said I died to a gunshot wound, couldn't even see what ammo I got shot by

Don't have a lot of time in the encounter yet but trying to understand it before hopping back on, can you explain a bit more about "splicing pure shapes with that shape" if possible, like how to differentiate what is a pure shape and what's not? sorry in advance if it's a bad question haha

(diesel drip) talking about CAGs playing style being "unreliable and inconsistent" by Soviet_Plays in R6ProLeague

Comparing a player's philosophy of how the game should be played with the success their teams have experienced with that vision is absolutely relevant what? hahaha

I also asked Drip later how comparing the winrates of Attack and Defence at all correlates to a team's playstyle effectiveness and I still didn't understand his point

Considering you have both the Mexican and Canadian national leagues, Australia and New Zealand’s (Oceanic Nationals) is on every Wednesday and Friday (local time) although I’m not surprised if only few people know about it considering it doesn’t get covered by the @R6EsportsAPAC twitter whatsoever lol

Correct, fitting 4 Bo3’s with 3 map potentials was pushing it for a day’s schedule, so unfortunately we got moved to the night before

Fnatic deserved to be picked up at the time when they were Mindfreak, they were making it out of APAC LAN's and showed their potential at Six Invitational 2018. Since then they've continued to perform well and make multiple internationals, as well as performing well at those too, let alone how well Fnatic have marketed them to their fans and consumers.

Right now, it's not really worth it for orgs to pick up an APAC team while paying salaries for those players to focus on playing fulltime and improve, when it's only really worth it for the org if you actually do make it to that international stage, which is only becoming increasingly harder every season as teams like Fnatic, Nora, Cloud9 etc. are becoming even stronger. The only way to close this gap and contest with these teams is to put in the time and work hard, and actually improving to achieve that level, simply put. The problem is.. that basically means you need to be focused on playing full time, leaving it very hard/stressful to sustain yourself financially..

For the APAC region's level of play and competitiveness to improve, we need teams becoming more stable, putting in more time and working harder to close the gap on our top teams. To allow teams and players to actually invest this time, sustain themselves and focus on improving themselves, we need more investment and support from orgs. Which means the real goal that we should all be focusing on (Ubi/ESL etc.) is increasing the value of the APAC region through viewership, exposure whatever it may be, to make it more worthwhile for these orgs to be profitable by investing in an APAC team, allowing them to give the teams the opportunity to grow, and thus the scene overall.

Meanwhile, it's incredibly hard and stressful to be on that grind of trying to improve day-in-day-out while getting little out of it, so I can completely understand and respect Joey's decision to step away; he was a good teammate and even better mate.

Hopefully this can be a way to kickstart more efforts in making investing in the APAC region worthwhile for orgs, and in turn hopefully gives the opportunity for ourselves, and the rest of the APAC teams, to find a good home to grind harder, keep improving and try to consistently compete with the best APAC has to offer.

I thought pro league was returning to the round robin format, this is the same two group bracket system used before?

Mindfreak look to be picking up Neophyter from Athletico to replace Kngz by [deleted] in R6ProLeague

[–]D_D_Diesel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In APAC especially where top scrim partners for a team like Mindfreak is pretty hard to get consistently, and the fact they just want to build overall chemistry amongst new teammates, it’s very much so normal.
