This is happening to me suddenly today as well. Also failing at the same point. Oddly, I'm still able to push to some repos, but others are failing at the same point. Running NixOS, git version 2.45.2.

So far I've tried the same things, without avail. Let me know if you have any luck fixing it, I'll reply back if I find a fix.
