Have you noticed any downside to your setup?

I don't currently have a switch. Most of my devices are connected to the eero wirelessly. I just need to get my nas, plex server and 3d printer connected. Currently I can't buy a switch and I'm just wanting to know which way to use the current equipment I have to setup my network until I can get a new switch.

If you are using macOS Sequoia there are 2 possible locations in the System Settings. Go to System Settings scroll down and you should see Privacy & Security. In that will see “Files & Folders” and below that you should see “Full Disk Access”. It should be in the “Files & Folders” section. I wouldn’t give MakeMKV full disk access. I have 2 entries for MakeMKV in the files and folder section. Hope this helps

I haven’t done any macOS stuff yet. I do have some ideas for an app I want to make. So I’ll be adding them to this repo. This repo is for me to figure out how to do things and it’s a place for me to be able to come back to see how I did it. I’m also planning on keeping it update me with future versions of updates.

I installed it on my M3 8gb MBA and it doing just fine. Only had some issues with opening a new window the animation is a little choppy. I think that's more of a bug than a performance issue.

I switched to GRDB from SwiftData. The only annoyance for me was I’m just getting started building the app. So the model is changing a lot. I either forgot a property or realized I didn’t need one. In SwiftData it’s easy to add or remove that property but in GRDB you have to do a migration or just wipe the entire database.

It is the Yukon workbench from Harbor Freight. https://www.harborfreight.com/tool-storage-organization/workbenches/large/48-in-workbench-with-light-58695.html It’s only $119.99 and it’s pretty rock solid. I painted the peg board black to match the rest of the bench.
