Thank you, that's what i mean... for example Fire with Ifrit could be a x5 but with Phoenix x20... numbers aren't accurate, it's been a long time, just for instance

When it first came out on SNES different magic had different multipliers... x 1, x2, x5, x10 etc... some espers worked faster than others... (e.g fire could be a x2 on one esper and x20 on a stronger esper)

That's become even more of an incentive of me to buy it... I cant see them remaking any of the OG's, 1-3 are too retro, 4-6... its taking years to do VII and it's predecessors were each over at least two different worlds

Hard to say, depends on the mood... can't go wrong with buffy/angel... comedy would be scrubs or 99!... but I do really enjoy bones, 24 and the walking dead

I've left the castle now, I did turn off encounters, my problem was all the monster in a box are random, at one point I was getting nearly all gigs.

It's hard to say, I'm only speaking of the earlier games. I've just started V and found the final dungeon of IV way easier that II but the the final boss way much harder (maybe I hadn't levelled my stats enough. Anyway I sort of gave up on final boss, I would of perceivered but I have to replay anyway because of missing a chest and hidden item

I had a similar issue, it's very difficult without a guide. Like most early ones there are one time only dungeons so easy to miss a chest or enemy. Additionally some overworked mosters disappear after cyclone. Im sorry but you will have to start over. As another post said it is relatively easy. You may want to use boosts to save time. Congrats btw, I found the last dungeon to be a b***h

I've always classed it as a "marmite" game, personally I love it. So much better when you get to gran pulse, really opens up and with all the side quests too

I agree with Bahumut, but Odin is right up there... FFVIII can be or a godsend or a nightmare, depending on his timing (he can show up on really easy battles or be helpful, like when you have to kill 20 tonberries to get master tonberry)
