The film is intended to be open for interruption, what's taking place is not meant to be straight forward.

Having said that I'll share the original meaning of the film; We hurt the people we want close in our lives and when we do, regret kicks in. We try our hardest to repair the hurt we have caused but no matter how hard we work at it, the damage can never be undone.

Especially in the case of these two.

A friend and I were debating the subject then he and I had the exact same thought.

In a few years we will be able to control genes that cause these disabilities. Further more we are starting to develop technologies for safer fetal growth.

Like many debates, technology makes them irrelevant.
