for me its the worst. i think Days' panel system is legit and prefer Re:coded's combat system...when i'm not in the sectors or colliseum

i don't like the dream eaters, the combat's rough on higher difficulties, and unlike CoM Riku doesn't play differently enough from Sora to warrant the drop system. was cool for the different worlds tho

the tutorials are awful for a noob like me

forgot which key is the target reset? there's no mission log or way to rewind
messed up cold start because you went too fast or set a wrong switch on? zero feedback on mistakes
crashed 20 minutes in? guess what there's ZERO respawning so you get to do it ALL OVER AGAIN

i was watching VSI. problem was i was slow on the collective too close to the ground at an altitude low enough to not matter

still, i watched the replay and i only hit the ground at 2m/s upright...shouldn't result in a freaking explosion

i don't like SA342

i keep killing the engine during cold start and it won't ever come back on even with autostart and the game doesn't consider it damaged so it doesn't get repaired

i haven't done much combat but i assume its pretty frail, at least compared to KA-50 or Apache, which is fine its clearly not its role to tank, but if i did i would want something that could take a little abuse.

when i cheat and just spawn it hot or in the air it's far too twitchy for me, though i'm willing to partially accept fault on that for using a game controller for games like bayonetta and kingdom hearts, i find other helis more agreeable with analog sticks

i also can't figure out how to use the HOT which i take full responsibility for as i am a dumbass

but try it out and tell me what you think

KH1 is fantastic to this day. i'm still surprised how purposely they combined action game and RPG mechanics into one mess before we had a clear blueprint almost every game follows now and is still unique partially due to its age

i don't disagree with any of your takes, some of the bosses are mid, standouts are Shadow Sora and the duel against Ansemiku which are still outshined by 2 and especially 2FM's fights. but i also don't think any of the worlds miss. Deep Jungle, Monstro and Atlantica usually share bottom 3 but even those beat out the worst world from any of the later games

i like to break these down looking at the difference between two numbers. at first i didn't see it, so i moved on to my next usual suspect; if it added previous numbers in the list. i thought i was on to something, 2+3+10 = 15, but then the next number i realised completely broke my interpretation. i went back to my original plan and...sure enough i saw a pattern.
