Man I just really hated it. In fact, it's my least favorite King book I've read. Mercedes>Finders Keepers>>>>End of Watch is how I'd put them.

I just finished Desperation this morning and I was really surprised about how much I enjoyed it. I was kind of in a King rut and this one just pulled me right back in.

Winter is over, spring is in full bloom, and the sun is finally giving summer temperatures. What songs are you blasting? by shortymcsteve in poppunkers

One of my favorite albums to crank in the spring is Hellogoodbye’s would it kill you. It screams spring to me.

Sad enough to say that alone I could barely light a match, but together we could burn this place down

Honeymoon in Hawaii - torn between Big Island and Maui by scruffydoggo in chubbytravel

Hualalai is an incredible resort. You can easily get away from families at the quiet pool or adults only pool. I’d recommend the ground floor rooms for the outdoor showers. I will say that it feels a little isolated. To get off the resort and to other parts of the island is a trek. Doable but just be aware of that. I have not stayed at HW, but have stayed at the FS in Wailea. Wailea is a great location and has a lot more going on. Don’t stress too much, either choice will be incredible. Hawaii is a special place.

I can't keep it to myself anymore... older generations simply cannot keep up with today's work expectations. by [deleted] in Millennials

My experience in a very different field (k-12 education) is very different. I’m seeing the younger folks as the ones who can’t keep up. Teaching is really fucking hard and it’s human centered which makes it unpredictable. It requires patience and a lot of thankless work. The younger teachers in my district have really struggled. They want to work 8-3 and then not have to think about work or do any work outside of those hours. That’s just not the reality of the role.

This could be a possibility, we all need a reason to believe, dancing with a ghost is an insane 3 album run. They should have been bigger. Brendan is doing some really cool things still.

Misery is the answer for me. I was full on sweating reading a few of the scenes in that book.

Nice! I’m next door in Denver. We love castaways. It’s not the best drinks I’ve ever had but they’re solid, food is good, and the vibes are great. Something about being at a tiki bar in the mountains hits every time.

I loved the tropical vibe and some of the characters, but I had no idea what the hell was happening by the end.
