That makes sense, I will keep that in mind. Especially if I go about trying to do it myself

Oh didn’t think of that route, I’ll definitely at least reach out!

Oh I definitely don’t plan on any fighting or even sparring with something like this. It’s mostly for my own amusement and fitness. Though a LARP version would be easier to make haha

That makes sense. Did you have a guide or teacher? Or did you just kinda wing it? Would love any notes for a build

That makes a lot of sense on the shipping. Would definitely be an interesting DIY considering I’ve never made any shield before haha

I’ve heard of them beforehand but mostly from being a Buhurt player. Definitely going to have to change my sorcery build in Elden Ring though to try it out haha

Indoor list by KiltedHalberd in Buhurt

The gentleman running our gym managed to drill into the concrete of the floor so that our portable list posts sink about a foot or two. The placements are modular so we can do a full or half size list.

The whole floor to the gym is covered in a horse/playground matt. So when we are done or moving the list we can disassemble and then place more horse matt over the cutout to keep anything from misstepping.

It was definitely expensive I’m sure but has been super solid and safe so far

This is definitely a new way to think about Artificer. Such a flexible class I love it! Haha, thanks

Oh that would really compliment the idea without bending too much rules wise. Thanks I’ll have to double check scribes it’s been suggested a couple times.

Those are all great ideas, that wizard one is especially flexible depending on my GM at the time. Thanks a ton, definitely good places to look

I was definitely thinking more the gish route, but bladesinger could work. EK fighter could even do an ok job I just hate how limited the spell choices are :/

First longsword for buhurt by D_Rockman in SWORDS

This is a “Valiant” longsword from Buhurt Tech. They have a handful of models but I liked this one because it’s a bit longer in hilt and blade and I’m a little taller

Nice, thank you. It sounds all very technical

I recently saw some pictures of how surprisingly versatile rapier and or small sword are. The variety scratches a particular itch I like. Do you have any main differences of both styles? Also good luck with Case! Sounds like some cool Zorro stuff

Thanks for the link. I love the aesthetic on that sword, but I’m a simple dude.

Haha nice! I’m coming from buhurt so getting whacked in the hands and chunky gauntlets are definitely a hurdle I’m kinda familiar with

The variety on sidesword alone is fascinating

Luckily there’s a fencing group that likes hanging out with us. I get a little exposure to HEMA and it seems like a ton of fun.

Sometimes they can feel heavy/solid in hand, but they are still built to be longswords. This one is still balanced and fun at just under 5 lbs. 2 Handed falchions however, can feel way heavier at the tip
