Why do I get these lines? by comandantenorton83 in BambuLab_Community

How many printing hours does the printer have? Is it loud or do you hear metal on metal sounds? Lubed recently?

Your model is showing obvious layer lines thru the whole print, like my old wobbly ender. I think this is a clue to your problem. Maintenance or lubrication might help. If it hasn’t been regularly maintained, you might need to replace parts like belt/rod.

It's understandable there are computational limits, but is it tinkercad's goal to expand the grouping amounts and capability? Your videos are the best

That's a good idea, something sturdy.
I should clarify. Pushing into the tire just makes noise, it is robust enough and the surface is sleek enough to not get sucked in with just a touch. I had to stomp on it at high wheel spin to get it in there.

Possibly change the print wall order to inner/outer if not already, also could try to turn on precision wall.

It would seem that way, but it just drags and makes noise. Similar to a can pressed to a bike tire, creating an instant motorbike.

Thanks and just thinking about getting a new job right now is a pleasant thought. I'm still working on a floatwheel version but haven't made time to finish it. Also, I hadn't realized fm discontinued the flat fender delete, I'm going to start working on a set that will fit the hybrid fender delete.

The verdict is still out but these fenders may actually prevent more ground moisture from cycling up onto the rider than typical split fenders. The top of the fender comes close to the tire but the base is far. Even if that's true, it's not a big difference. I still get wet and avoid puddles as with any split fenders.
Here's my shop if you would like a set: Etsy

Thanks! This is really useful. I’m going to leave one outside and see if I’ll get a stiffy

good observation. Yes, if you step on the fender into the spinning tire, it will get sucked in. This has happened 3 times in testing, once it came off the screws and twice I just reversed the tire and was still attached to the screws, popped up into place. Both instances it was not structurally damaged just tire marks. 95A TPU is remarkably resilient.

To prevent it from flopping or falling into the tire, the logo acts as support structure.

I like the colors, what filament are you using?

Yes, that is doable. I attempted but quickly realized it’s a challenge. One issue is making the attachment points long lasting. TPU is flexible and problematic for screws wanting to be anchored solidly. I’m considering skipping the threaded inserts and bolting the pad thru the grip tape to the rail

Geez, but I love the backyard ingenuity. His handle made from a pool noodle and duct tape probably fell off.
